Scenario: Levi gets a new cadet, Reader-Chan; however, he realizes something is different about Reader-Chan as she settles into her new dorm.
{Levi's Point of View}
"Section Commander Hanji usually leads all new females to the dorms however she's out on business so I'll be showing you the way." I spoke to a new cadet feeling odd by not calling Hanji four eyes. I lead the new cadet, named (Your full name) to her dorm as opened the door for her. "Dorms are sharing by twos however you make an odd number of five. You'll be getting the dorm to yourself."
"If I remember correctly the other four are Ymir, Christa, Sasha, and Mikasa."
"Tch. Someone did their research." I was surprised hearing she already seemed to know everyone despite not meeting them. "Feel free to ask one of the other cadets to help move your belongings in."
She looked at me with wide eyes. "That won't be necessary. This is all I own." She said setting a small backpack down on the ground. "Although I do have to ask about when I'll get the extra pairs of uniforms."
Was she joking? All cadets had their own personal belongings. Over time, they have brought things with their paychecks. Even though she was new, I still expected her to have her own belongings.
I made my way out the door. "I'll ask Erwin when your uniforms will be in." She nodded in response and I made my way out the door to visit eyebrows... I mean Erwin's office.
~~~
I made my way back towards (your name)'s dorm with her extra uniforms that were in Erwin's office waiting for her. I was prepared to knock on her door, believing she closed it like the others, however it was wide open. Curious by this behavior, I hide behind the doorway and peeked into her room.
I watched as she took the last few items from her small backpack and placed them on nightstand. The last item she pulled, was a bottle of medication. Looking closely at it, it was given to her by Hanji. I wasn't aware they had already meant. She took one of the pills out and popped it in her mouth. She didn't even drink water. I walked in acting like I hadn't seen what happened.
"Erwin already had your uniforms in his office." I held them out to her and she took them gently.
"Thank you Sir. Or do you prefer Captain or Captain Levi?"
Something about her threw me for a loop. I could tell she wasn't like my other cadets. I wasn't for sure how but she just was and to be honest, I liked it. I liked her. The worst part about that, I had just meet her and didn't even know anything about her.
"You can call me Levi when it's just us but call me Captain when we're around others."
"Of course, Levi."
Ohh the way my name sounded coming from her lips. Perfection.
"I wasn't aware you had met Hanji already." I tried making conversation as I looked at the pills on her nightstand.
"Yeah." She spoke as she put her uniforms in her nightstand. "She had to do my checkup before I was allowed to move in here. She sure was talkative but it was in a nice way. She met no harm."
"Yeah that's four eyes for you."
"Haha." I heard (your name) giggle. "Four eyes. That's so funny. Do you have nicknames for everyone?" She took a seat on her bed as she smiled.
Did she really think my nickname for Hanji was funny? She would be a first.
"Yeah I do. Hanji is four eyes. Erwin is eyebrows. Eren Yeager is Titan freak, Armin Arlet is coconut head. Everyone had their own nicknames when it comes to me."
She laughed again and it was then I realized I had taken a seat next to her on her bed. "They all make sense." She continued giggled cutely at my words.
"They do?"
"Of course." She said after laughing. "Hanji wears glasses which is an extra two eyes. Erwin has huge eyebrows." She exaggerated the word 'huge.' "I heard Eren can turn into a Titan and Armin does have a coconut shaped haircut." She giggled for another second. I couldn't believe it. She actually found me funny. She really did! "Hey!" She exclaimed. "Can you give me a nickname?"
She looked up at me with twinkling eyes and I couldn't help but say to myself that I had to give a nickname.
"How about I give you a nickname over some tea in my office tonight after dinner." I was shocked hearing my own words. That's not what I was supposed to say.
She giggled again. "I would like that. I do love tea after all and I feel very comfortable talking to you."
I found her honestly adorable. "Can I consider it a date than?" Ugh oh. Not what I meant to say again. "I mean... like an informal one... like until I can take you out on a real one or..."
"Levi." She place her hand on top of mine. "I would love that and as far as I'm concerned, it's a formal date to me."
