Scenario: Levi has nicknames for everyone, that's no secret. So what's his name for Reader-Chan? Nerd. Why? Well because she's a single-minded expert in science. What happens when it's her birthday and Levi wants to make Reader-Chan his nerd through a gift?
{Levi's Point of View}
It's her birthday. The nerd scientist here at HQ other than Hanji and her stupid four eyes, (your name). Today I've decided that I'd tell her how I felt about her. I wasn't given myself the chose to back out.
I wanted her birthday to be special. I wanted to do something for her. And not just something small but something big.
I walked into the mess hall where all the cadets and other higher ranks were eating breakfast but when I walked in, the atmosphere was sad. I listened in on the cadets whispers. Apparently (your name) wasn't so happy. Every time someone told her happy birthday, she thanked them sadly. That was something she never diss she was always cheerful. Everyone loved her for that reason. What was wrong? Why was she sad?
I watched as Hanji cheerfully walked into the mess hall walking towards (your name). I stopped her and pulled her into the kitchen.
"Levi?"
"I need your help." Hanji immediately took interest. After all, I never ask for her help. "I heard the cadets talking about how (your name) seems a little sad today. I need you to take her out to the city so I can plan a surprise for her."
"Ah! Shorty has a crush..."
I put my hand over Hanji's month before she could finish saying those words out loud. There was now definitely no going back on asking (your name) to be mine today.
"Just do as I say." I handed her my wallet. "Go make her buy something nice or something. Be back by dinner."
Hanji saluted me and immediately ran out the kitchen. I watched as she took (your name) by the arm and whisked her away. All cadets looked at Hanji confused as she dragged (your name) away.
"Listen up brats." I spoke after Hanji had left with (your name) causing all attention to shift towards me. "Today is (Your name)'s birthday. I expect you all to help with her surprise party today. Any questions?"
"Yeah. Why are you allowing us to throw her a surprise party." Cadet horse face... I mean Jean asked.
"You all noticed that she's been down. No one should be down on their birthday. Any more questions?" No one else had anything to say. "Already here's what weighing to do."

{Reader's Point of View}
"Hanji where are we going? I have to go back and train before Levi punishes me." I told Hanji as I rode with her on her horse.
"Don't worry. Short cakes told me to take you out into the city."
"He did? Why?"
"It's your birthday. He thought you deserved a free day. He even gave me his wallet and told me to give it to you and force you to go buy something for yourself. Plus he noticed you looked kind of sad." Hanji gave me Levi's wallet and I blushed upon holding it.
I had a crush on Levi. That was no secret. But I'm sure he didn't feel the same way. After all, I was nothing but a nerd. I loved science and so I was a scientist at HQ kind of like Hanji. The o my difference was that Hanji worked with titans and well I worked with humans. On top of being a scientist, I also was head of the infirmary. I was sure Levi only saw me as a nerd. I mean that was the nickname he gave me. At least it wasn't something like four eyes like Hanji has. On the other hand, I was feeling a little down because I missed my family. In a way, I was glad he noticed.
