There were many warriors standing around us, dressed in kilts. They looked powerful and strong. Their huge bodies were rock solid muscle. They all had shoulder length hair like Christophers, and they were all sinfully handsome. Next to them were two beautiful women. One that looked human and one that looked supernatural.
Christopher raised his body up, and pulled me with him. There was a big smile on his face as he looked around at everyone. Then all at once, the warriors, and the two beautiful ladies, came foward and hugged us.
Laughter filled the air as Christopher reunited with what I suspected was his family. Then they all started asking a million questions all at the same time. I pulled back and watched with excitement as the love of my life cried happy tears.
He was telling me the truth all along, and I did not believe him. I still had trouble believing my eyes. How could all this be real?
Christopher's hand snaked out, and he pulled me back into his embrace and everyone stepped away, allowing for us to be together.
"Welcome Bella." One of the beautiful woman said sweetly, and everyone held their breath not knowing how I would respond. And how did she know my name?
"My name is Mary, I am betrothed to one of Christophers uncles, and this is Tatiana, Queen of Fay, Christophers God mother." she said, and I looked next to her at the Queen, curiously, and could not believe that fairies really exist!
I was speechless!
"Bella is a little over whelmed." Christopher stepped in and said, and I thought that was the understatement of the year.
"We understand." Mary chimed, "Can we borrow her and show her around? Mayhap Tatiana and I can help her feel at home if we make her feel comfortable. It is a huge transition, from her world to ours!"
"I think it is a great idea, if she agree's that is." Christopher said, and everyone looked at me and waited for my response.
I pulled away from Chritophers arms and said, "Yes, I would love that." and the three of us walked away from the warriors, as Mary excitedly chatted away about the legends of castle Brodie.
It was nightfall when the ladies returned me back to Christopher, after they showed me every square inch of the grounds surrounding the castle. I was exhausted and hungry as we walked into the dining area, and I was seated next to my man.
Christopher leaned in and whispered for my ears alone, "I missed you Bella. Eat your food fast and lets get out of here." he said, and his eyes twinkled with want.
We ate as fast as we could and excused ourselves, and Christopher pinched my butt cheeks as he climbed the stairs behind me two at a time. Our laughter echoed throughout the halls of the great castle as we made our way to our chambers.
