I paced up and down, back and fourth, in the library, raking my brain, trying to find the answers to my questions. Elizabeth is my soulmate, I have no doubt! My heart and my mind tell me so. I sighed. I run my fingers through my hair.
And if she is the dark witch? The little voice inside my head said.
"I still want her!" I roared outload.
I must find out the truth! I stomped out into the great hall and looked around for Mary. She has to know if Elizabeth is a witch.or not. I searched inside the castle and did not find her, may hap she is at court. I hurried outside and searched the crowd and found her taking a morning walk with a few young ladies of the court. When she realized I was looking for her, she left the young maidens and walked over to me.
"Alex, you found her didnt you?" she said, and her eyes glittered as she looked up at me.
I tensed, and my heart almost jumped out of my chest. "Is she the one?" i asked and held my breath for the answer.
"Of course she is silly." she said smiling, "She is your one and only true mate, my visions dont lie!"
I shut my eyes and exhaled. But my excitement was short lived, when the half moon on her arse came to mind.
"Mary, are you one hundred percent sure of this?" I asked cautiously.
"Of course I am, why are you asking me this?"
"Because she has a half moon on her arse, the same one that the dark witch carries." I said, anxiously waiting for her reply.
Mary looked confused. "I can not explain why there is a half moon on her arse, but I have no doubt that she is your true soulmate! And by the expression on your face, I can bet a weeks wager that you have her prisoner somewhere in the castle!"
"You are a fool Alexander! Go release her this instant or you run the risk of her not wanting you, remember, in order for the union to be complete, she must want you as much as you want her, and by the look on your face, you have alot of convincing to do. What have you done to her Alex?" she said, placing her hands on her hips as she waited for my reply.
I quickly walked away, not having anytime to spare. I have to go to Elizabeth and explain everything to her, and beg for her forgiveness. Hopefully she will forgive me and we can start over. There isn't much time left. the walls of the world will soon come crashing down unless we stop them.
My heart pounded in my ears as I took the stairs two at a time. My pride did not allow me before to reveal my true feelings to Elizabeth. What if she denies me? She must be told about the feelings I carry for her. I hope its not too late to win her affections.
And when and if I win her affections, how would I explain to her that I am a Druid? Would she accept me with my powers and responsibilities to save the world? Will she believe me when I tell her that she carries powers in her too and together her and I, are the only ones that can destroy the evil ones?
I crashed opened the door to my chambers and stepped inside and locked the doors. When I turned around and looked into Elizabeths eyes, my heart was heavy with grief. Her eyes blazed hatred.
