My father looked across the horizon, lost in his own thoughts. I tuned in to hear what was on his mind and my heart twisited with pain. How can a man carry so much love for one woman? I have new respect for him. This man I proudly call father lives for the sole purpose to love my mother and me.

"Father, Mayhap together we can come up with a plan to cheat fate." I told him, wanting desperately for him to agree with me.

My father stood silent, listening to the ocean waves as they splashed and sprayed our bodies with warm water. He wasn't listening to me, his mind was making love to mother. I tuned off, and walked away. there must be something I can do! I closed my eyes and demanded an audience with The Twelve Council.

I was denied!

I tried one more time, threatening that I will abandon my position as Savior of the world if they refuse to see me. They finally agreed and my spirit left my body and joined them on their own sphere.

They did not look too happy to see me as I stepped through the illuminating light. They know why I have come.

I bowed in their presense and was wrapped with a white long robe. The Wise one spoke up first. "Christopher, you have not listened to our teachings. Do not try to change the course of history because the outcome will be devastating." he said in a calm and collective voice.

"The outcome is already devastating! Why do you want to take away my parents?" I asked, my voice was loud and demanding.

The Twelve Council looked at each other and talked to each other telepathically. I tried to break through their thoughts to hear what they were saying but they had blocked me. I waited patiently until they were done, but the expression on their faces was not promising.

"Sit down Christopher." the Wise one said.

I sat in the golden seat that was in the center of the table and waited.

"You are off track Christopher. You have dissapointed me greatly. You seek to change the fate of your parents, defying the laws of the universe! You know what the repercussions are if you try and get in the way of what is to be." he told me in a mellow tone.

"I only ask for one thing, I beg for my parents life to be saved." I pleaded.

"You know that we do not change the laws. Your parents defied the order of the universe and said their vows in spirit form even though they were advised not to. They selfishly disobeyed and triggered the apocalypse." The wise one said.

"There must be something you can do, Please do not take my parents away from me!" I begged.

"Go back home Christopher, and prepare, for there is nothing we can do for you." he said, and I suddenly found myself back into my body on the beach.
