I stand quietly, with tears streaming down my face, not saying a word. What should I tell them? The truth would kill Elizabeth, and have Alexander storming Scotland in a rampage of killings. Quickly I stormed my mind with something to tell them, other than the truth.
"The fairy knows of the birth, and she seeks revenge as we speak, but our biggest threat is not her, but Isobel." I said, knowing the impact my words would have on Christopher's parents.
"That bitch!" Alexander roared, slamming his fist on the table. "I will kill her with my bare hands if she lays one finger on my son!"
Elizabeth panicked and cried out, "Why do they want to hurt my baby?"
James could not miss the opportunity to make Alexander look bad, "Ask your husband, he knows why. It is all his fault!" James sneered.
"Why you bastard!" Alexander roared, "I have paid for my mistakes, and if I had the chance I would do it all over again! I love your daughter and she belongs to me, heart and soul James! I will never give her up, We are soulmates and we belong to each other."
"Father." Elizabeth said softly, tears sliding down her face. "You must stop hoping that I will leave my husband. For my heart is his forever. I will not live without him. I love him, and that will never change daddy."
James eyes were dark with hatred as he looked at his son in law. "If anything happens to my little girl, or my grandson, I will make you wish you were never born!" he threatened.
"Arguing will not help solve our problems, infact a house didvided can not stand alone!" I told them, hoping my words of wisdom will help them understand that we must stand together and fight side by side if we hope to win this war.
"We have to make peace with the fairy, we need her help, her army is strong and we cant win without her help! The dark forces have gained strength and numbers over the years. They out number us two to one!" I argued.
"What do you suggest we do?" Brendan asked.
"First of all we all have to find peace with each other, then we need to get Tristen and Colin, and tell them what is happening, may hap they can help us come up with a solution." I said, and my heart tugged at the mention of Colin. I have missed him terribly.
Alexander threw his chair back as he stood and said, "I will go and talk to Tatiana, I will strike a deal with her and we will have her on our side in no time."
All eyes fell on the mighty warrior.
Alexander walked away to prepare for his departure. My heart was sad, knowing already what the deal was, my visions dont lie.
