My eyes roamed over my husbands sexy, hot, muscled body. I traced his hard abs with my fingertip and when I looked up in his eyes, the look he gave me, sent fire in my lower part of my body and burned me with its flames.
"Kiss me husband!" I said passionately.
ALexander wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer to him, and a husky groan escaped from his throat, before he bent his head and claimed my lips. A second later, he pulled away.
I looked up at him questioning his behavior, wondering why he would pull back at that presice moment when I needed him the most.
"Is something wrong? Did I displease you in any way?" I asked, worried that he desired me less.
"You can never displease me, ELizabeth." my husband whispered, and his lips claimed mine once again hungrilly just to prove his point, but quickly he released me again and pulled his himself back.
I narrowed my eye brows and said, "Tell me what is wrong then! You claim one thing, but your actions say something else!"
My warrior sighed and said softly, "You are hurting deep down Elizabeth. Your body needs me now, but your heart is still trying to recooperate from its pain."
"In other words, you are saying that I am using you just for sex?" I asked. "I didn't know men cared about that! I thought it was a woman thing, and that men want sex any way they can get it."
"Yes that is true only when a man is being a man, but when a man is in love with his woman, he wants to make love to her, not just have sex!" he said softly. "Besides we were still talking about all the things you wanted to know."
"Alright continue, tell me the rest of the stuff the Emerald tablets reveal." I said, not caring anymore. I just wanted him to be inside me and make sweet passionate love to me.
"What else do you want to know?" he asked, and I detected a hint of fear in him.
"Talk to me about the Golden Chalice, I overheard Mary one day talking to Colin about it, but when they saw me enter the room, they changed the subject." I said and waited for his answer, for I knew that this should be an interesting piece of information.
