Hey there everyone, it's been a while since I updated, and "a while" is an understatement, so I wanted to make this chapter detailing every arc of this book in a funny review fashion.
Yes, this book has arcs and a storyline, despite how loose and random it is.
I am determined to finish this book before June 2024 though, so I'd better start now huh?
Ash: Hey... what happened to the multi-dimensional storyline you were hyping up?
Ace: Whatever do you mean
Ash: Remember, that Area 51 plotline?
Ace: Oh yea. I scrapped it.
Lillie: B-but. The plOt.
Tracey: It was supposed to be MY arc!
Ace: In fact, I feel like resetting this timeline.
Ash: But.. all our character development! You can't just-
Ace: Yeet it out?
Ash: Yea exactly that.
Ace: But then you see your book dwindling in views and it's like bruh.
Iris: That's why you're supposed to update often.
Ace: That joke is SO old.
Paul: So is this book. End it.
Ace: Never. Look at all these views. It's RESULTS.
May: Uh huh.
Ace: Plus I have to keep this to show my readers I'm still alive after 6-month breaks.
Brock: Isn't that your own fault though?
Ash: So you gonna continue?
Ace: Eh. Why the heck not? Everyone forgets what happened anyway, so we're gonna need a lengthy recap of the past few arcs.
Goh: Got it.
Misty: This'll turn out great.

Last time on "The Random Adventures of Pokemon Characters"
1 - Randomness Arc: Chapters 1-17 (Hello There! - Ash Ketchum II)
Synopsis: Get introduced to the randomness of this book, with iconic Pokemon characters doing whatever knows what. Many of the chapters surround the gang commenting or acting out what happens in an image. It's also terrible. Ends with Red stopping a war between all the Ashs.
Ash: Trash arc. TRAAAASH
Serena: It's really dumb. Like where were you even going with this?
Ace: Chill. It was 2016 me when I wrote that. Cut me some slack.
Goh: Due to this being the beginning arc, I'll cut it some slack. However, it doesn't captivate the reader at all. It's just random.
Ace: Hence the title..
Goh: I give this arc a 5/10.
2 - Chus Arc: Chapters 18-23 (Being Bored is Boring - The Chus Arc Episode IV)
Synopsis: Ash and Ash 2 are kidnapped and sent to a Pikachu BootCamp called Chu's Academy where they are tortured and held prisoner. With the help of a ??? man, they use every Z-move to bust out.
Ash: This arc had an unsatisfying conclusion.
Hop: Seriously the biggest asspull ever.
Goh: I'll give some points because this arc at least tried to deliver a story. But the whole premise is weird and uncomfortable, plus the ending was doodoo.
Lana: It's like dominatrix Pikachu or something.
Misty: Please be quiet.
Lana: I only speak the truth.
Goh: This arc gets a 4/10.
3 - Cousins Arc: Chapters 24 - 30 (The Egg - Where We Left Off)
Synopsis: Random adventures continue such as Pikachu leading a Pokemon revolution. The arc leads up to a 3 part chapter where Zack's (Ace's) cousin Tris appears, wanting to take over as host of the book and enslave all the characters. The two have a battle that ends up destroying the book. The two of them end up reviving the book. Tris doesn't show up in any following chapters, and the entire arc is basically retconned at this point.
Ash: Most of the stuff in this arc is basically reconned.
Tris: Wait. I'm not canon anymore.
Ace: Yea get out. Get ouuuuuut.
Goh: Due to the fact this arc is now completely useless, I give this arc a 3/10.
4 - New Character Arc: Chapters 31 - 36 (The New Ash - Meet the Family)
Synopsis: New characters from the 7th generation of Pokemon are introduced. The first is the I Choose You (Movie 20) timeline Ash, as well as Verity, Sorrel, and Cross. The end of the arc marks the first appearances of the Aether family: Lille, Lusamine, Mohn, and Gladion.
Ash: This arc isn't funny.
Leon: How come the Alolan and movie characters get an arc but not us Galarians.
Ace: I'm lazy.
Cilan: A simple but effective answer.
Goh: I kinda like the consistency of this arc. Definitely a step up from the ones before it, but that's not saying much.
Ace: Ouch.
Goh: This one gets another 5/10
5 - Extreme Randomness Arc: Chapters 37 - 46 (Barry is Cringy - Shoutout)
Synopsis: Chapters began to get longer as more Pokemon characters appeared in increasingly random adventures. Chapters in this arc are more crude in their humor with cussing. A standout chapter is the Side Characters Chapter, which gave multiple side characters in the Pokemon series an appearance (Ex. Miette, Harrison, Bruno, etc.) This arc also ended the long trend of having an image in every chapter.
Ash: Stuff just got crazy here.
Barry: Yea what were you even going for?
Ace: Listen that's the past. It was a phase. Move on now.
Goh: Some might say it was a little crazy, but I do believe this arc was more thought out than all the previous arcs combined. Plus there were some funny moments.
