PREVIOUSLY, on the Random Adventures of Pokemon Characters.
Goh and Chloe set out the perform the Mew glitch in order to catch the elusive Pokemon Mew, however, after Goh was caught using a pirated copy of Pokemon Red, he blamed it on Chloe and had her sent to the Shadow Realm. Now, Goh has enlisted Ash in order to help him find and save Chloe, even if it's against his will.
Goh: it gets the point across Ash. Anyway, I've figured out in order to save Chloe, we're gonna need a ragtag group of awesome teens to get the job done.
Ash: Goh this is stupid
Goh: Shutup. You're just a cringe doomer who's lost the hopium

Gary: hey fellas, I heard you needed some help.
Ash: Ah Gary. He's a strong trainer and knows a lot about Pokemon, I'm sure we should definitely bring him along-

Ash: Great we love those.
Goh: Alright gang, I think we're ready. Prepare for a long, heartfelt journey, full of twists, surprises, and plenty of character development.
Ash: Nah, we're off screening everything.
Goh: But. But why.
Ash: Well canonically (if that even matters anymore) I can become a super saiyan and solo anything in this verse unless it's some omnipotent god pokemon.
Lillie: I love our plot.
Goh. Let's just. Open the door to the shadow realm.
Ash: How do we do that?
Lillie: Money
Ash: Really thats it? I thought it'd be a lot more intense than that
Lillie: And the blood of 1000 pokemon babies
Goh: But. But why.
Lillie: No worries. I'm the daughter of a cooperate overlord. We basically have that stuff lying around.
Ash: What's the last thing on the list?
Lillie: We need the power of anti-matter from Giratina, but that may be a hassle.
Ash: Oh. We have that covered. Dawn recently beat Pokemon Platinum in order to complete her extensive 7-hour review on why Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are in theory, worse games than everything Platinum achieved!
Goh: Better not be throwing shade a Poketubers Ash. I'm watching you.
About 5 minutes later
Dawn: Here's my origin forme Giratina you guys can use. Just don't lose it. I spent a good 23 hours shiny hunting that baby.
Goh: A fellow shiny hunter, pure dedication
Ash: Or lack of anything better to do.

Goh: Hey. Giratina. I know this probably doesn't mean much to you. But my friend got sent to the Shadow Realm all because of me. Honestly, it's a shame I didn't realize it sooner, but she's my best friend. And over the past few hours, I've realized, I can't live without her. So please, help me bring her back.
Ash: Woah. Goh character development. I need to take some pictures.
Giratina: Wow. I never knew you felt so strongly about your friend. As a token of gratitude, I'll help open the portal to the-
Goh: WAIT! I'm not done with my character growth speech. I need everyone to know I've grown OKAY?! Anyway. I've known Chloe since I was a baby. We were babies. She was my first friend. The only one who ever gave my sorry ass a chance. And the reason I was always so cold to her, and outright annoying, was maybe out of love. And-
Lillie: Please Goh. We literally don't care anymore. We all know that after this arc, you're gonna revert back to the status quo.
Goh: All the more reason to HAVE MY MOMENT!
Ash: PEASE JUST OPEN THE PORTAL ALREADY.
*Giratina opens the Portal to the Shadow Realm*
Ash: Finally. This arc that had started back in January of 2020 can finally come to an end soon.
Goh: Hold on, it's been 2 YEARS?
Ash: Shocking, is it not? Let's just go, Goh.
Goh: Ah. I see what you did there. Cause go and Goh and they're pronounced the same and-
Lillie: I despise you.
All three of them jump into the portal, as the conclusion to whatever this arc is called heads into the finale...
