Ace: Shut up, I've been wanting to do a school arc for the longest time now, and luckily gen 9 gives me the perfect excuse to do so!
Lillie: So whats the main cast gonna be like for this arc?
Ace: I'm thinking... Ash, Goh, Serena, May and Max!
Serena: wait no way I'm in a chapter again??
Max: I like the variety for once
Ace: that's if I decide to stick with it. okay lets get started!

It's been about a month since Goh saved Chloe from the clutches of the Shadow Realm, and life had been going swell for our random cast of characters. However, soon enough, a single trigger will be the catalyst for the most impactful and important events of their lives.
But for now, they have a short little arc to get through.
Ash: Woah woah woah. I just got the mail.
Chloe: Is it fan mail? I'll dump it out with the rest.
May: You know Ash, it's kinda rude that you just throw out all your fan mail after becoming the world champion. Some people look up to you believe it or not.
Ash: Listen, all I do is collect my fancy little check every 2 weeks and I'll thank all the fans you want.
Goh: But what if like, one day, someone beats you and takes your title? Then you'll be jobless, unemployed, and working at Burger King like me and Chloe.
Chloe: Oh I just recently quit Burger King.
Goh: Wtf. When did that happen?
Chloe: Like now. Reminding me that I work with you prompted the urge to quit.
Goh: I don't like this toxic relationship we have. I saved your life. And-
Chloe: And no one remembers. Blah blah, like anyone is gonna believe you.
Serena: I believe you, Goh.
Goh: Gah wtf where did you even come from who even are you?
Serena: What do you mean I'm literally Serena, famous Pokemon Performer and acclaimed ex-girlfriend of Ash Ketchum.
Goh: Yea man sorry can't help you.
Ash: Your delusions have to be studied.
May: Pokemon performers aren't even a real profession, they're just second-rate coordinators.
Serena: Nuh-uh
May: You LITERALLY ditched your so-called famous profession to become a coordinator in Hoenn, only to be in the shadow of me.
Ash: GUYS. My mail, please.
Max: You need to be humbled.
Ash: YOU need to find a job.
Ash: Anyway it's uh sent from Paldea.
Serena: omg, I have a ton of friends in Paldea its like right next to Kalos.
May: Well that's great to hear you have friends-
Serena: we hate those sandwich eating spaniards
