Chapter 26

Yanxi's POV

I stepped inside the school as usual with Karry, Roy and Jackson only to get some glances and glares from other students. They were whispering at each other while pointing at our direction. I was so confused. What the hell was happening?

"I didn't know he is that rude to a girl like Peixun," a guy said as we went pass him.

"Peixun is so fragile how can he do that?" another guy replied.

"But Peixun is also annoying as hell, she shouldn't keep clinging to Karry like that," a girl defended.

Karry?

"Well for me both of them are at fault," another voice spoke.

As soon as I arrived at my locker, I heard a girl said, "I take back my words, I don't like him anymore."

I frowned, curiosity was building inside me. So I turned my head and looked at the girl who was whispering something to her friend. "Uhm, excuse me?"

Both of them turned to me, giving me a weird look.

"Do you know what's happening?" I asked carefully.

"Oh you don't know? The video is circulating everywhere in this school," the girl said, which made me frowned even more.

"What? Which video?" I asked again.

They both exchanged glances, before turning their attention back to me. The other girl took our her phone from her pocket and handed it to me. Then I clicked on the play button. I felt like the whole world just stopped when the video played. 

I totally forgot about the camera, and I forgot to tell Karry about it too. So this is why Peixun put it in his locker last time. She purposely made Karry acted rude towards her and spread it to the whole school. I gave back the phone to the girl and without any hesitation, I ran.

I ran as fast as I could to the classroom and searched for Karry. I had to tell him this, about everything. My eyes scanned the whole class and when I spotted him, his eyes were already looking at me.

I ran towards him. "Karry! I have to tell you--"

"Tell me what? Tell me that you're behind all of this?" he asked, earning a frown from me.

"What do you mean?"

He scoffed and glared at me. "You! You are the one who put the camera in my locker and spread the video to the whole school, right?"

I widened my eyes, "H--how do you know about the camera?"

"Ahh, so I'm right. It's you," he said coldly.

"No, listen Karry, you're misunderstanding the whole situation. Now answer my question first, how do you kno--"

He suddenly got up from his seat, and shot the coldest glare ever to me. "I don't think I can see your face again for today."

Karry's POV

My heart broke into pieces after I left her in the classroom. I needed some fresh air. I went to the school backyard and sat on the bench, trying to digest everything in my mind. I just couldn't believe it. I couldn't accept the fact that she, the one that I love, did those things behind my back.

I was feeling uneasy when I felt those glares on me when we walked into the school this morning. So I directly went inside the classroom, and asked one of my classmates what the hell was actually happening. He showed me a video of me and Peixun yesterday, when we talked about things. From the angle of the camera, it seemed like it was taken from the inside of my locker.

So I ran to my locker and searched for the camera that could possibly recorded everything. But I couldn't find anything at first, until my fingers trailed every edge of my locker, and I found an extremely black coloured camera. This is it, the one that recorded it.

Then my mind immediately remembered when I found Yanxi opening my locker that day. Nobody else dared to open my locker, even Peixun. So there was nobody who could put that freaking camera inside the my locker except... Yanxi.

A thought then hit me. A few days before this incident happened.

Flashback

The wind was blowing our face, sending shivers down my spine as we walked together around the park in midnight.

"Hey Yanxi, do you feel cold?" I asked, and she nodded a little.

She sighed. "Why are we even here, Karry? We can just talk in my house."

"I don't know, I just like the atmosphere," I shrugged and saw her gritting her teeth because of the coldness.

I took out my jacket and was about to put it on her when a familiar voice called my name. "Karry honey!"

I turned my head and saw Peixun, running towards us while waving. When she arrived in front of us, she immediately hugged me. My eyes widened in shock and I turned my head to Yanxi, she also had the same expression as mine.

Peixun looked up to me and pouted. "Karry~ I'm freezing. Can you lend me your jacket?"

I looked at her in disbelieve. First, the fact that she suddenly appeared out of nowhere is weird. Second, her arms that were still hugging me made it looked even weirder, and now, she asked for my jacket that I wanted to give to Yanxi?

"B-but--"

"No buts," she said while putting her index finger on my lips, shutting me up.

I sighed, I had no choice. So I put my jacket on her, without being aware of the fact that Yanxi was staring at us the whole time.

"Thank you, Karry!" she exclaimed happily and tiptoed to kiss my cheek. After that, she left. 

Like what the hell, girl? You just came here to take my jacket?

I looked at Yanxi, and she was giving me that cold stare. "So you're giving her your jacket even though you know that I'm freezing to death?"

End of flashback

Even though after a moment, we got back together, she was definitely jealous. Yes, she was jealous so she did all of these to get revenge on me and Peixun. It hurts more knowing that it's Yanxi who did that.

- "I was blinded by my own thoughts that time. I couldn't think clearly." -
