Chapter 15

Yanxi's POV

Karry looked a bit shocked. He stood up, "Yes?"

She lifted up the book and shook it several times, "Are you trying to play with me or what? Your book is empty! Where is your work? If you don't do it, then tell me, no need to give me an empty book!"

Karry widened his eyes, then he immediately looked at me. I started to panick and avoided his gaze.

"I'm sorry, miss. I thought--"

"I don't need your apology. I'm dissapointed at you, Karry," she sighed. "Come to my office during dismissal time."

"Okay," he muttered and sat back on his seat.

"Wow, Karry didn't do his homework?"

"This is the first time ever he didn't do his works."

"Wow I can't believe this, I thought he's very diligent and smart?"

"Well maybe because he can't find anyone to do his homework?"

The boys started to talk about Karry, they were laughing at him. I stole a glance at him and I could see he was very, very mad. He was tightening his fist.

"Yanxi," he called and I hesitantly looked at him.

"Meet me after class," he said, holding his anger.

Class ended and Karry stood up from his seat and bang my table loudly. Thankfully, nobody was there, only us.

"Karry, I can explain--"

"I DON'T NEED YOUR EXPLANATION!!" he shouted at me.

"I told you that something will happen if you don't do your homework, right?" he glared at me.

"You will kiss--"

"No, of course I won't do that. I'm so disgusted at you," he said rudely. "Why should I kiss someone who ditch me?"

"This is why I need to explain this to you. Karry, listen--"

"I SAID I DON'T NEED YOUR EXPLANATION!" he yelled at me. "Whatever your reason is, I don't care. I went to your house yesterday just to ask you to do my homework. I trusted you, but you broke my trust."

"Yeah, but something happened, okay? This only happened once in my whole life, you should try to understa--"

"I can't understand, and I don't want to," he said.

I stood up and looked at him with anger, "CAN YOU STOP CUTTING MY LINES?! YOU'RE SO SELFISH, YOU ONLY THINK ABOUT YOURSELF! YOUR EGO IS--"

"Come with me," he said and roughly pulled my hand. He brought me to the lockers, where some people were chatting there.

Their attention went on us when Karry roughly pushed me to the lockers, my back hit the lockers hard.

"Wait. Here." he said and went to the bathroom.

I frowned.

What is he trying to do?

A minute later, he came back with a pail of water. He looked at me and I flinched.

"Where is your locker?" he asked.

"My locker? Why are you askin--"

"JUST TELL ME!" he yelled, making everyone looked at us.

My trembling hand pointed at my locker, "T--there."

He roughly opened my locker and poured the water inside it. My books, clothes, bag, all wet. He then threw the empty pail in front me and started to walk away.

"KARRY! HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO ME?!" I shouted but he ignored me.

People started to talk about us and I just stared at my wet locker.

This is my fault. I should've tell him about it last night. Why am I so stupid? I know that he's that kind of person, and he already reminded me. He even offered to give me a rare item again in return. But still, he couldn't do this to me. He should hear my explanation. He's the one who asked me for help, he couldn't just do anything he wanted to me.

"Yanxi?!"

I looked up and saw Roy, looking at me with his widened eyes. Maybe because he saw the crowd of students here.

"What happened?!" he asked when he saw my locker.

I sighed, "Long story."

He immediately understood and helped me with the locker. He got all the things out. I was about to cry when I saw all the books were completely drenched. I definitely couldn't use them anymore.

Roy went to the bathroom to get some tissues while I sat on the floor and just stared at my things. People started to walk away and did their own things again.

After a few seconds, Roy was back and he stared at me for a while before wiping my bag, the only thing that could be wiped. I felt grateful that he could understand me, for not asking me things.

I was just watching him, taking some clothes on his hands and put them on top of the lockers to dry them. He then started to wipe my empty locker. After he was done, he stared at my books. I guess he didn't know what to do with those too.

But then he started to force a smile, "It's okay, Yanxi. We can buy new books."

I shook my head, "My money is limited. I can't waste my money on that."

He thought for a while before saying, "I'll help you with that."

"How?" I asked, looking at him.

"I'll tell you later. Now get up, you look like a crazy girl," he joked.

I stood up and immediately hugged him, "Thank you, Roy, for everything. Thank you for being here for me."

This week is a really busy week for me. I had a school trip from Monday until Friday, and yesterday I went to my friend's sweet 17 party. It's really nice spending time with them. Idk why I'm sharing this, I just feel like it 😂😂
