Karry's POV

I fixed my necktie then left my house for school after I locked the door. The moment I came out, I saw Roy and Jackson. They also just came out from their houses. We looked at each other before we burst into laughters.

Our houses are neighbours. Even though we live separately, our houses are exactly next to each other. Roy's house is in the middle, while mine and Jackson's are beside his.

Our wake up times are almost the same, and our morning routines are similar too, that's why we often come out together without even planning it.

"How's your morning?" Roy asked both of us as we walked together to school.

"Good as always," I smiled and Jackson nodded.

"Mine isn't," Roy sighed. You know just now a lizard fell on my bed! I was freaking out!"

We both laughed and Jackson teased, "I hope next time it will fall on your head."

Only with them, I can be myself. I can laugh freely, smile freely, without faking. I suffered a lot in school, being a very fake person. All of that is because of my dad. He forced me to be the center of the school's attention. He said that if I let him down, he will do something bad to my mom. My family problem is complicated. My parents don't love each other, that's why I live separately from them.

I never know the reason why he told me to be like that. But being a care-free person I am, I just obey him, even though I know that I'm hurting people, I annoy people, and all I'm doing in school is wrong. I don't care, as long as he doesn't hurt Roy, Jackson and my mom. They're the only ones that I have.

We finally arrived in school and the fangirls started to attack me again. Before, I wanted to sigh and scream, to tell them that I want them to stay away from me, but I can't. Roy and Jackson never know about this, they thought I like it. But well, that was before, now I really don't care about those fangirls or anything. I mean, I should enjoy my life, right?

Just then, in the corner of my eyes, I saw that unpolite girl again, walking inside the school alone with her earphones plugged on her ears. I rolled my eyes then continued to walk inside the school.

The class started as usual. My seat was at the back, in the corner, as usual. Jackson was in front of me, and Roy was beside me.

"Good morning, students," a teacher came. I frowned.

A new one?

"I'm a new teacher here. You can call me Mr. Zhang. I'll be your maths teacher for three months ahead," he smiled. "Just to let you know, I hate it the most when students don't pay attention to my class, especially when you're talking with your friends. So take a note, our class will be a complete silent when I'm teaching. Unless, if I tell you to talk or discuss."

The students groaned and he immediately gave us a death glare. I rolled my eyes. That means now I can't chat with Jackson and Roy anymore? That can't be happening, I can't bear boredom.

The class started boringly, as he taught us some stuffs that we've already learnt years ago. I started to get bored. I scribbled on a blank paper, drew something, tapping my fingers on the table. Then finally, I called Jackson.

"Psst! Jackson!" I whispered.

Jackson looked back and whispered, "What?"

"Talk to me! I'm bored," I said.

"No, Mr. Zhang told us that we have to pay attention during his class," Jackson replied.

"But--"

"Both of you at the back!" Mr. Zhang shouted, making us flinched. "What did I just say? No talking during my class!"

He paused then continued as he looked at Jackson, "You! What's your name?"

"Jackson," he replied.

"Jackson! Change your seat with the girl in front of you," he said and Jackson hesitated. "NOW!"

I widened my eyes when I saw that the girl who was sitting in front of Jackson was no other than that unpolite girl. I shook my head continuously, begging Jackson with my eyes so he didn't move. But Jackson looked at me as he mouthed me 'I have no choice.'

That girl looked so pissed off as she saw me. Our eyes met for a second before she turned around and put her books loudly on the table.

"What's wrong?" Mr. Zhang asked her.

"Nothing, sir," she said. "But you just ruin my mood today."

Wow, I couldn't believe she could talk like that to that teacher. But one thing I knew, she's screwed.
