Yanxi's POV
"KARRY!! HURRY UP!" I shouted at him as I could hear the fireworks already.
Night had come, and this time I was the one hurrying Karry because I really wanted to see the beautiful fireworks in the theme park. About the ghost house thing, I really didn't want to talk about it anymore.
"WAIT!" he shouted as he ran crazily towards me and grabbed my hand. "Okay let's go!"
We joined the crowd of people that were watching the fireworks and my mouth was opened in awe. It was colorful, and it was shining brightly in the dark night sky.
I noticed that Karry was staring at me the whole time. "Isn't the fireworks better to be watched than me?"
He smiled and shook his head, "No, you're more beautiful."
"Since when do you--" I looked at him, shocked. I think my heart just skipped a beat.
"Come with me," he cut me off as he grabbed my wrist, pulling me out of the crowds.
"Where are we going? I'm still watching the fireworks."
To be honest, I was startled. My heart was crazily beating so fast. Oh my gosh, what just happened to me?
"Sshh, just follow me," he said.
After around 10 minutes (of him pulling me), we finally arrived at his destination. I looked around. He brought me to a beach, and this is the place I always wanted to go with my future boyfriend.
The scenery was so beautiful. I could smell the sea water, and the night air was brushing through my face, blowing my hair softly. The water was shining because of the moon light, and I could hear the sound of its wave. Everything was just, too beautiful.
I looked at Karry, "Why did you bring me here?"
"To enjoy the scenery?" he smiled.
I stared at him. I don't know how and why, but he became much more handsome under the moon light. I could see his beautiful features, especially with that sweet smile on his face. His hair was blown by the wind, which messed it up a bit.
"Come on," he said as he moved his hand from my wrist and intertwined his fingers with mine instead.
What happened to him? I couldn't understand. He would usually bragged about his how handsome he is if he caught me staring at him.
Karry's POV
Tonight, right now, I really wanted to confess to her. I realized my feelings for her, the moment my heart wasn't beating normally when I watched her smiling and laughing beautifully while watching the fireworks. I felt the need to protect her. I felt like I couldn't let any other boys to see her precious smile. But still, I couldn't be so sure about my feelings, and I didn't know why.
I need time, to build my trust on someone other than Jackson and Roy. It's hard for me to accept someone in my life. Even though my heart was screaming to let myself trust her, but my mind wasn't letting me. The trauma inside me would never be gone, because of my parents, the ones whom I trust the most, the ones who I thought would always stay by my side. They divorced, they didn't care about me and my feelings.
After we strolled at the beach for a while, we sat on the soft sand, watching the sea wave came and left.
"Hey Yanxi," I called, looking at her.
Why is she so pretty under the moon light? Why did I never realize that she's actually a pretty girl? Why was I so harsh to her?
"Hm?" she hummed, without looking at me.
"Do you have a crush on someone?" I asked.
She turned her head, and our eyes met.
She gulped nervously, "N--no."
"Good," I smiled in satisfaction.
"Why did you ask?"
"Because I like you," I stared deeply into her, but all I could see from her eyes was a disbelieving look.
"Me? You like me? As a.." she paused, she couldn't continue her words.
"Friend," I replied, and she sighed in relief, but I could see a hint of disappoinment in her eyes.
"Let's go home," she said and stood up.
"Alright, I'll take you home. It's late already," I stood up too and smiled.
She just nodded and started to walk in front of me. I stared at her back as my smile never left my face.
Tell me, Yanxi. What should I do about the weird feelings that I have for you?

Yanxi's POV
Yesterday night was such a weird, yet beautiful night. I wasn't trying to get my hopes up, but I really felt that Karry confessed to me. He just wasn't ready to tell the truth, so he lied. But I was happy though, that he finally likes me as a friend, a least.
I was awaken from my thoughts when I heard my phone suddenly rang. I stopped the running water and wrapped a towel around my body before stepping out of the bathroom. I took my phone and widened my eyes when I saw the caller id.
"What's with Karry? Calling me early in this morning?"
"Yanxi.. Help me..," he said. I almost couldn't hear his voice, he sounded like he was out of breath.
"What? What happened?" I asked, without realizing that I sounded so worried.
"Roy and Jackson aren't picking up their phones," he said.
"Yeah okay now tell me, what happened?" I asked again.
"Someone--" he paused as he groaned in pain.
I widened my eyes, "Karry! What happened?! Are you hurt?!"
"Someone stabbed me."
