Chapter 19

Karry's POV

I woke up, feeling a sharp pain on my head. I closed my eyes for a few seconds before opening them again. I tried to sit up, but I stopped when I saw Yanxi, sleeping peacefully as her head was resting at the side of the bed.

I smiled. She's so pretty when she's sleeping, I have to admit that. Just then, I realized that one of her small hands was holding my hand. I slowly pulled away so she wouldn't be awake.

My hand hesitantly touched her hair that was covering her face and put it aside. I looked at my watch and it was striking at number 3. It's still way too early in the morning.

She must be so tired, taking care of me in the middle of the night. Why did she do that though?

I finally managed to sit up and groaned when I felt the pain on my back. I looked around. It's really dark, except for the bright light that came from the kitchen.

I looked at Yanxi again. I slowly got off the bed and with the remaining energy I had, I carried her bridal style upstairs. Thankfully, she didn't wake up. She just groaned a little.

I went to her room and put her on her bed. I squated down and stared at her face. She's so beautiful, like an angel.

"I'm sorry for yesterday, for yelling at you like that," I muttered, and couldn't believe myself that I was saying sorry to her. But at least, she didn't hear it.

I caressed her hair gently before I stood up. I was about to go outside when I suddenly got dizzy again.

I couldn't stand the pain, so I went to the other side of the bed and laid down. Only for a while, she won't know. I really couldn't stand it. It's hard for me to breathe properly.

Yanxi's POV

I woke up after hearing the chirping of the birds outside. The sunlight hit my eyes and I flinched. But soon, I got so shocked when I saw Karry's face in front of me. I unconsciously moved back and I fell down from the bed. I groaned and rubbed my poor ass.

I looked around and realized that I was in my room. I stood up and looked at Karry. He brought me here? How? When? Why?

"Stop staring at me like that," Karry suddenly said as his eyes flung opened, smirking.

I cleared my throat, "I'm not staring at you."

"Then?"

"Why are you here anyway? Why are you sleeping on my bed?" I tried to change the topic.

"I wanna sleep next to you, that's why I--"

"WHAT?!" I shouted. "What did you just say?!"

"Nothing," he smirked and got off the bed. My eyes followed him as he went inside the bathroom.

He turned back, my eyes were still on him.

"Why? You wanna shower with me?" he asked playfully.

"KARRY WANG!! I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" I shouted and was about to hit him when he slammed the bathroom door right in front of my face.

Then suddenly, my bedroom door was opened, revealing Qilin with his wet hair. He was holding a towel on his head and he was shirtless.

(a/n. they have 2 bathrooms.)

"JIE! You're gonna kill who?!" he asked, shocked.

"AISH! CAN YOU WEAR YOUR SHIRT FIRST?! AND KNOCK BEFORE YOU COME IN!!" I shouted at him. My morning mood was seriously ruined by these two boys.

He smiled sheepishly, "Sorry, I'm gonna wear--"

"Yanxi! Can I have another pair of clothes?!" Karry suddenly shouted from the bathroom.

I sighed in frustration.

"Oh my gosh, who's that?" Qilin asked. "Junkai ge?"

"Who else," I said. "Can I please have your clothes? I need to give it to him."

He shrugged, "Just take it."

I went to his room and took a random pair of clothes. I saw Yaowen was sitting on the bed, playing a game from his phone still with his messy bed hair.

"Morning, Yaowen," I greeted him with a smile.

He looked up and smiled brightly, "Morning, jie."

I then went out as Qilin went back inside his room. I knocked on the bathroom door, "Karry, your clothes!"

The sound of the water stopped, then the door was unlocked and a hand came out from behind it. I handed the clothes and rested myself on the bed again.

After around 5 minutes, I heard the door was unlocked and I took a glance at Karry. My heart instantly beat faster and I could feel myself blushing. He looked so hot after shower, his hair was wet as he was drying it with a towel.

"Why? Am I that handsome?" he asked and I just stayed quiet.

He started to take a few steps towards the bed, and I automatically backed off. But in a split of second, he pinned me to the bed. He smirked. Gosh, he's too close.
