Yanxi's POV

It's weekend already. I had nothing to do besides staying at my house alone. Yeah, alone. My parents are staying in America, they only sent money to me. They don't like me, and will never like me.

I never know the reason behind it, it just happened like that. I have a little brother, his name is Huang Qilin. Unlike my parents, he really loves me and cares about me. But unfortunately, my parents brought him with them.

I was awaken from my thoughts when my phone suddenly rang. I got up from my bed and sighed when I saw the caller id.

"What?" I asked lazily.

"Do my homework," he said.

"Please, Karry. Stop telling me to do stuffs, I wanna play--"

"I have some things to do. Do it and send me the answers. I'll copy it tonight, it's maths anyway," he said, sounded so serious.

"No, no more," I said firmly.

"I told you if you don't wanna hear what I said, I will--"

"You will kiss me? Yeah yeah sure, do whatever you want," I rolled my eyes.

"Ohh, so now you're interested in me? You even want me to kiss you," he said.

I sighed in frustration, "Gosh, Karry Wang! I told you I'll help you with Peixun! No more help from me! And no more nonsense!"

"Hey, if I think about it, I think you're starting to like me."

"Do not change the topic," I emphasized each word clearly.

"Then do my work, and I will send you a rare item in the game you're addicted with," he said quickly and hung up the phone.

What? What rare item? How does he know I like playing games?

My phone then buzzed. A message from Karry popped up. I clicked on it only to see a screenshot of a rare item from the game I played.

YOU SERIOUSLY GONNA GIVE THAT TO ME IF I DO YOUR HOMEWORK?!

After that, he went offline. I really couldn't understand him. Sometimes he's cold, sometimes he's playful, sometimes he has that both personality like just now.

I shook my head.

Aahhh whatever! I don't care. Now I need to do his homeworks and get that rare item from him.

I happily turned on my computer and quickly logged in to my game. I told Karry my username hours ago so he must've sent the item already. My eyes were shining when I saw the rare item arrived in my message box. I looked at the username and it's from @king_of_crab.

I scoffed.

Crab? He's so weird.

A minute later, he replied.

I hesitated but finally typed it.

I decided to text him from my phone.

I rolled my eyes while sighing before turning off my computer. I layed on my bed and immediately went into my dreamland.

"Yanxi! Yanxi!"

"Who's that?" I asked, looking around.

"It's me!"

"Who?" I asked again.

"You don't remember me?"

"I can't even see you!" I shouted as I looked around, everything were just plain white.

"I'm here."

"Where?"

"Here."

I turned around when I felt that the source of voice was coming from behind me.

"I miss you, Yanxi."

But before I could see his face--

My eyes were opened. I looked around, and it was just my room.

"That dream again," I muttered and looked at the clock. "3 a.m? So fast, the dream was just for seconds."

"But who is he?" I wondered and sat up. "His voice is so familiar."
