Just some things I've always wondered/ been curious about with Paramore. The most recent of these that I'm sharing is going to be about Jeremy "leaving", so I'm breaking my promise a bit. Some of these are my own, some I've found online, a...

So here's my thoughts that no one asked for, and you can disagree, in a respectful way. Saying I should leave or shut up isn't respectful and it doesn't make your point valid. If you're gonna disagree present an argument, not insults.
I made a post regarding the interview Zac did with Noisy and I wanted to know what people thought regarding two things he said:

I'm gonna say what I think: I find these comments a little off putting and shady.
I read this and I couldn't believe he would say these things in an interview. Like why would this be the way you answer questions about Paramore while you're in Paramore?
One of the first things that confused me was whenever he was talking about how he likes playing in HalfNoise better than Paramore, which isn't bad and could be understandable because it's his and he's probably proud of his art, but that wasn't his answer. He said Halfnoise still has "magic in it" and therefore kind of insinuating that Paramore doesn't have magic in it anymore. And I personally didn't get the reason, like he's basically saying he likes HalfNoise better and HalfNoise is more magical because they aren't famous, they don't stay in luxury hotels, and they don't have a tour manager or schedule or anything like that. I disagree, I think no matter how famous Paramore gets, the magic that's in Paramore is that at its core it's just people who love music and are passionate about music, and you can see it in every performance. They never give up, Hayley will never let something stop her from performing, not even losing her voice. I think that's the magic, I think the magic is in them, in their commitment and their passion. And the success that the passion has earned them, in my opinion, doesn't lessen that magic. I don't get why if you like HalfNoise better, and don't think there's magic in Paramore anymore, why would you rejoin Paramore? That kind of takes me to my next point.
In the next question, which again he could've answered totally differently, he's asked if Paramore allows him the freedom to do HalfNoise and make it what he wants it to be. He easily could've said something like "yeah the guys are really supportive of the band" or something like that, again that's not what he did. So he got asked to do AL around the time they first went into the studio so like late April/ early May, so this is before that and he says in the beginning of 2016 he basically had run out of money and couldn't really afford to steadily live and do HalfNoise as a job. He was gonna end HalfNoise in 2016 if he didn't find a way to make money doing it, and was gonna get a real job. He, the guy who started a band, said he didn't believe trying to be a professional musician was a good career option because it's not as easy at it used to be. This is gonna sound exactly what it sounds like, and when I read these questions this is what it sounded like to me, maybe you feel different: it sounds to me like he linked up with Paramore again to make money.
Here me out: he's saying he had no money in 2016 and he needed to find work, he's saying he prefers HalfNoise because he doesn't think Paramore has magic left in it, he's saying he doesn't like the fancy hotels and scheduled tours Paramore can afford.
He doesn't like the way Paramore operates as a band, and he doesn't find it magical, why would you rejoin then? Because paramore is a steady paycheck, especially after a record cycle like S/T. I don't know if you've ever seen Jeremy or Taylor's houses, they're huge, basically mansions. Hayley at one point owned a house in L.A. and a house in Nashville. Paramore aren't strapped for cash, they do pretty well. The touring members get paid fine, but the members are millionaires, being a member of Paramore isn't a bad deal for the funds. You have no money, you know for a fact that your best-friend would let you back in anytime you asked, you know this could allow you to make a platform for your other project, what do you do?
He in no way needed to rejoin Paramore to repair his friendships with them. Just hanging out with them the months before Taylor asked him to rejoin, he said they made amends as soon as they began working together again. And he admitted in a different interview that him and Taylor had had private conversations about him rejoining months before he started working with them again. People kept saying it was just them being influenced by him, which I agree, but my point is eventually it extended beyond an influence to them becoming very much like his band. The Artist for AL came out and said he was approached by the band and the band specifically told him they wanted a completely new image, a complete rebrand, didn't wanna be that band anymore. What do you do if you dislike the band that will help pay your bills and prefer your own band? Do you continue trying to be successful with your band? Or do you morph the successful band to be what you want so you can get paid and make the art you wanna make? Taylor already liked his style, Taylor is his best friend, he doesn't need to be convinced, and he's the main music and song writer.
They dress like him, make music similar to his, promote his muisc constantly, play his songs live in their set, he's a full member and gets a good paycheck for it. If this is what Zac was trying to do, he won.
This is what it seems like to me honestly, and I'm not saying it's the truth, it's just what it seems like to me, and I'm sure I'll get torn apart and lots of people will disagree.
