Just some things I've always wondered/ been curious about with Paramore. The most recent of these that I'm sharing is going to be about Jeremy "leaving", so I'm breaking my promise a bit. Some of these are my own, some I've found online, a...
I haven't seen journalism this poor since last time I read a Fox News article.
Rolling Stone published a bullshit article about how the Grammys were being sexist because no women were nominated in the rock category, thing about that is IT'S BULLSHIT!

A woman who goes by the stage name K.Flay is nominated in the best rock category for her song Blood In The Cut. Also, the band Code Orange (formerly Code Orange Kids) is nominated for their album Forever in best rock/metal album, and they have a female lead singer named Reba Meyers. They made an article about the Grammys snubbing women in rock, and then snubbed the only two women who the Grammys acknowledged and nominated.

That's how you know Rolling Stone didn't read the nomination list, and apparently neither did Paramore, even though Paramore themselves submitted themselves in two categories:
Best pop album: After Laughter
Best pop performance/song: Hard Times
"After Laughter is rock you just don't get it asgshdjjkdgg!!!!!" Oh yeah? If the fans think it's rock, and Paramore think its rock, why did they only submit themselves in 2 pop categories. They could've submitted themselves in the rock category, but they didn't.
The academy didn't give them the nominations because the album and song were against more successful songs like That's What I Like by Bruno Mars, and more successful albums like Melodrama by Lorde.
Rolling Stone saw Paramore weren't nominted, didn't look to see if any other women were (as we've established women are nominated), then went on to write a bullshit article about how Paramore's 80s synth pop album should've been in the best rock category, and how the Grammys are sexist because no other women were nominated (as we've established many times, that's BULLSHIT).
The Grammys don't hate Paramore. In many people's opinion; in 2015 the Grammys practically cheated for Paramore by letting their funk pop song (Ain't It Fun), win best rock song against a bunch of hard rock and metal tracks just because paramore's song was the most successful one nominated. And they didn't care about that then? The fans didn't either?
Talented women's nominations are being overlooked because they're not famous enough for Paramore or Rolling Stone to know them, which is bullshit. They did it! K.Flay got the nomination as a solo female artist, and Reba and her band got the best rock/metal album nomination, against at bunch of all male rock and metal bands. Shouldn't we be congratulating and celebrating them instead of publishing and retweeting a bullshit article?
