Just some things I've always wondered/ been curious about with Paramore. The most recent of these that I'm sharing is going to be about Jeremy "leaving", so I'm breaking my promise a bit. Some of these are my own, some I've found online, a...
I know that some people may be sick of hearing me talk about this subject, but I can't hold back anymore (and yes, I have been holding back), because this was finally the straw that broke the camel's back:

By the way, the final sentence of this page says: "In this world exclusive interview with the woman herself, we cut to the core of what it means to be influential in 2016, her experiences of growing up in a male-dominated and extremely public setting, and most importantly; what the future holds for both Hayley and her band..."
Finally, Fucking finally!
Finally, we get an interview with Hayley that is directly about Paramore, which should be great news right? It would be, if it was published anywhere but Rock Sound. I don't know if you're familiar, but to actually see what's in Rock Sound you have to get the app and buy the magazine, buy the magazine in real life, or buy it and have it shipped to you.
So let me see if I understand. You do an interview, which your fans have been waiting for-fucking-ever for, but do it via a medium that a sizable portion of your fanbase cannot access? I don't know about you all, and maybe I'm wrong, but speaking personally I do not own a credit card or have access to my parents' cards or have a job, so I will probably never see this interview. I actually have only seen one Paramore/Rock Sound interview, and that's because it was taken on video and someone put it on YouTube.
This, to me, is a slap in the face.
She has probably been approached by thousands of people to do interviews, and this is what she chooses to do? She chooses to go for the magazine that has the hardest accessibility for her fans?
Since day one, every time Paramore have needed unconditional love and support from their fans, the fans have given it. With this Jeremy fiasco, they asked us to support them, and we did without question. And I'll be the first person to say that I don't agree with the choices Jeremy is making right now, but I feel bad for the amount and concentration of hatred that he's gotten, similar to how Josh and Zac were treated when they first left.
Side Note:
This brings me to another point I really wanna address. In both situations with Josh and Zac and with Jeremy, no matter what part she has in it, the fans always favor Hayley as the hero. And I will admit right now that I do this too, and I try to kick myself now to keep myself from doing it. People, even fans, complain that Hayley is above everyone else, but you're the people that put her there.
Jeremy gets married: omg how cute now I can write a fic about the wedding!
Hayley gets married: sorry guys, I'm deleting all my social media, I just don't feel right doing this anymore.
People put a different value on Hayley as opposed the other members of Paramore, and I even I have been guilty of this. You complain that she's above everyone else, but really you're the one putting her there.
End of Side Note
As I was saying though, we give Paramore our full support in-hesitantly, and what do we get back? We. Get. Nothing.
Jeremy leaves and we hear nothing from Paramore except that they need our support, and we support them just like they ask. But, when time passes and we start to ask what's going on: we're terrible fans and they need time and they don't feel like answering right now. How is that fair? We just blindly support them and shun Jeremy, but when we get curious as to what's going on they don't feel the need to answer us? There is no give and take in this situation with Paramore. It feel like they're taking advantage of our kindness a little bit here, to be honest. They went through this with Josh and Zac (except they explained that immediately), and they asked for unconditional love and support and they got that. Now, we're in the same situation with Jeremy, and it feels like they just expected the fans to immediately just support them and go along with them, and that the fans would wait around forever because we love them so much. But what Paramore isn't realizing, is that a lot of us are older and wiser now, and we are sick of playing these mind games with them, and guessing games trying to figure everything out. I have spoken to people who agree with me, so I know I'm not the only one.
I believe in Paramore. I love their music, and I'm very excited for the new album. But I don't know how much more of these mind games I can take. Paramore, you have some serious explaining to do.
