Hey guys, I know my positive Paramore post confused some people and I wanted to explain it and talk more conspiracy ideas.
So that post was sarcastic, it was a joke, but it was to make a point. A lot of people are telling me I'm too negative. If there is something to be positive about, I'm positive about it (like I'm absolutely positive Hayley looked hot in the TYS video), but not everything in the world can be good and positive, y'know? There are things that are negative, there are negative feelings, I have them, I know you all have them too. So for everyone who is on this big positivity trip lately, especially with Paramore, I'm not you. I'm not gonna act like you or even attempt to. You're positive, good for you, but that's not who I am right now, and I won't conform. Me not liking a Paramore album doesn't make me a negative person, unless of course you have Paramore tunnel vision. And I apparently can't give enough examples of why I feel this way but I will give yet another:
Gorillaz, who I have been listening to for 7 years and love very much, just put out a new album (Humanz), and I hate it. Not because they changed their sound, because the writing is lazy, and the production is lazy, and it feels like Damon Albarn isn't even trying anymore.
I don't care if I love a band, if the album is lazily written, lazily produced, generic, copycat, or anything else like that I will call it out. Not because "I can't handle change," because I know that that band is incredible and they could do incredible things.
I'm not a teacher that accepts D+ work from an A+ student just because I like them.
So getting past all that, conspiracy stuff. I have ideas I'm tossing around. I listened to a few more songs backwards (including HT and TYS), and they were boring. Another Paramore theory I hear going around is that they're in the illuminati, I could maybe do something with that. There's a conspiracy that BBBB is about mind control. So let me know if you guys would be interested in those.
