I'm Confused

Hey guys I just wanted to talk about something with you that's been confusing me the past couple days, and that is exactly how far along are Paramore on their new album?

We're going on 7 months of working on this album (being that they started writing in January, and it is now July), which is the longest an album has ever taken (S/T took 5 months). So, they should be pretty far, right?

Paramore entered the studio sometime in late May of this year, as we know from the pictures that they have posted. They have also posted videos of them working in the studio, with JMJ (who is also producing this album, his second with Paramore) on bass, and Zac on drums, obviously tracking music. 

As of late, Zac hasn't been in anymore photos with them, and they haven't posted anymore shots of them performing, which would lead us to speculate that they're finished recording the music. These speculations were confirmed (or so we thought), when Hayley announced a few days ago over Twitter that she had began tracking vocals.

However, Hayley recently (yesterday) did a GDY interview with Fox News Magazine, and when she was asked about how the album is going, she responded:

"All I can say right now is that Taylor and I are currently writing."

What!? What do you mean "currently writing," didn't you finish writing in like May, and that's why you entered the studio to start recording?

My fear, and I seriously hope I am so fucking wrong about this, is that Paramore are writing and recording one song or a few songs at a time. Which isn't totally out of the realm of possibility, and also means this new album could take until next year to be finished!

I don't know if this is true, I really hope it isn't. We've been waiting so long for this, and we all know they're not gonna start doing interviews and performances until this album is done. At this rate, Jeremy left to chase rainbows, that's what we might as well think because they won't speak up! And if this album takes forever to finish, then we may never find out what happened to Paramore (although we deserved to know a long time ago!) All I know is that I'm gonna be pissed if they're deciding to take they're sweet ass time with this album.

And don't attack me and say: "if you were a real fan, you'd support them taking their time!"

Well, as a real fan, I'm tired of being in the dark. I know for a fact there are other people who feel the same but won't say anything, but I will.
