So we fall down again

The feeling never left your mind, the dark feeling that you were being watched by someone. You wanted to get away but found that you couldn't escape the prison that was called your mind. It was like you were chained to the wall of hell and couldn't be saved, not even by your friends.
How were you supposed to suppress the feeling? You touch the item in your hand, the one that was a puzzle piece in the pursuit of finding your missing love. The item was a card, more specifically, a monster card. The monster card was one piece of the ever growing puzzle that separated you from the goal of finding the answers to the question you asked yourself. Where would it lead you though?
Yugi asks, "Hold on a second, how is it that you know about Y/N?" Atem became silent before answering, "Your friend has a gift, Yugi. One that might be able to help you and your friends defeat this veil of darkness."
Duke exclaims, "This is ridiculous! How are we supposed to find him?!?" You were silent as you walked through the depths of the forest. "Hello! Anyone there?" You answer, "Stay quiet for a second, will you? I think I hear something near by." You walk closer to the sound and stop. Yugi? H-How? Hold on, is this an illusion? Why does it seem so real? You gasp when you see a man who looked similar to Yugi staring at you. "Hello Y/N L/N.'' "W-Who are you? H-How do you know who I am?" He responds, "I am Pharaoh Atem. I was the spirit sealed inside the Millennium Puzzle." Atem? That's the Pharaoh Yugi was telling me about before! You ask, "Where am I?'' He answers, "We are inside your mind." "My mind?" You question, "Where's Yugi? He's not hurt, is he?'' Atem spoke carefully, "Listen, you have a gift, one that can help you win this fight against the darkness that dwells inside this world." "A gift? What kind of gift exactly?'' The spirit spoke cautiously, "You can see past or future occurrences." You answer, "I can see the future? Like a fortune teller?" He shakes his head and responds, "Not exactly, more like a clairvoyant actually." You realize, "That's why I've been sensing so many strange things before." You ask, "How is this supposed to help me find Yugi and defeat those creeps?" You blink and whisper to yourself, "I'm back in the real world."
You then realize that you were alone, you call out to your friends, but hear no response. You then hear a familiar voice, "Hello! Anyone? Can someone hear me?" Yugi. Oh my god. You run to where you hear Yugi's voice and find him chained to a tree. You said, "Yugi. Thank goodness you're okay." Yugi moved his body but groaned in pain when he did. You add, "Don't move, I'll get you out of these chains as quickly as I can." You unlatch the chains, making Yugi gasp in relief. You held onto his feeble body and say, "I'm so sorry, Yugi." Yugi said, "Stop, this isn't your fault. It's not your fault that I got chained to some random tree in some strange forest.'' You decided to ask, "What happened, Yugi? You couln't have just disappeared randomly." He shakes his head and answers, "I don't remember, it's a blur inside my mind." You said, "I'm just happy that you're okay, so is everyone else." Yugi asked, "Where is everyone exactly?" You answer, "To tell the truth, when I was searching for you, they kind of disappeared." Yugi exhales, "Well, I guess that we should probably go find them then. They're all worried sick about the both of us, they might start looking for us." You nod and help him as you both search for your friends.
You look around the forest, figuring out where you last saw Duke, Joey and Tristan. You ask, "Are you sure that you can stand without any type of support?" Yugi nods, "I'm fine, Y/N. I can walk alone." Please don't lie to me, I know it hurts. You merely nod and follow after the lilac-eyed boy.
****Several hours later****
You both reunited with your friends about several hours later. They had found you both in the middle of the forest in the same spot where you first became separated from them.
"You guys okay?" Yugi replied, "I'm fine guys, don't worry about me." You became silent, feeling invisible as you listen to your friends worry over Yugi.
You suddenly find yourself in a room, one that you had never seen before. What's happening? Where am I? You then see your friends tied up against a wall, as you saw an impudent figure laughing at your friends as they lay helplessly. You then see yourself and Yugi with angry expressions on both of your faces. Are we duelling together? What's going on exactly? You found yourself back to your present surrounding. Did that mean something? You shake your head and sigh to yourself. Maybe I'm overthinking this situation more than I really think that I am. What did that mean though? Is it connected to something I should know or already do know?
You were not used to the attention that you were currently receiving from Yugi. Yugi was leaning against his hand as he watched you quickly scribble down random words on a piece of paper. "What are you doing, Y/N?" You stayed silent as you kept writing down your thoughts. You then asked, "Why are you staring at me, Yugi?" Yugi responds, "I'm not staring, I'm admiring." You question, "Admiring what? How extremely focused I am right now?" Yugi answers, "I'm actually curious now." You put down the pen and say, "Apparently I can see the future or somewhere along those lines." Yugi admits, "I already know. In some freaky way, I saw Atem's spirit and he told me about this "gift" that you have." You said, "I saw him too. He told me that somehow, this power can help "seal the darkness that dwells inside this world" or something." Yugi points out, "You look like you need some kind of distraction." You nod, "That would be helpful." Yugi lit up, "I have an idea."
"How is this supposed to help?" Yugi responds, "Well, you seem to be less stressed when you're duelling, so I thought that this would help." You reply, "I'm just glad that Uncle is okay with this." Yugi said, "I'm still weirded out when you call him that." You roll your eyes, "It's not that weird, at least I'm not calling him my brother." Yugi answers, "I guess you're right. That would be really weird to hear." He adds, "Anyway, let's just practice for that thing in two months."
***Ten minutes later***
You said, "I told you that I would lose!" Yugi sighed, "You really need to be more confident in yourself. Besides, it's just one duel. There'll be more to come, you know." You decided to tell Yugi what was bothering you. "Yugi?" He becomes concerned, "What is it?" You tell him about the "vision" you had a bit earlier and his eyes widen in shock. "Do you know why it happened?" You shook your head, "No I don't and I have no idea what I should say or do about it. I'm like a blank space with no words written to fill the empty void that is haunting my mind." Yugi responds, "We'll figure something out Y/N, I promise. We just need to do a bit more investigating on this entire issue." You sigh, "I hope we can, Yugi because I feel like this entire situation is just growing every time we think that it's going to get better." You feel Yugi's hand squeeze your own in comfort, making you feel slightly more relaxed than before. The lingering feeling of uneasiness stayed though.
You were currently attempting to figure out what the scroll in your hand meant, words becoming confusing as you translated it. "Need some help?" You nearly forgot the Yugi was still with you. I really need to stop spacing out like that. You admit, "I forgot that you were still here." Yugi chuckled, "You seem to space out a lot, don't you?" You blush, "I can't help it when I get so into something that I'm doing." Yugi hugs your side and remarks, "I think it's really cute when you do something like that. It makes you look very smart." You give him a shy smile and Yugi kisses your cerise cheek. Yugi asks, "What's that?" He points to a picture within the scripture. You reply, "It's a stone. More specifically, a sun stone. The sun stone is a key to an ancient treasure of some sort." Yugi asks, "What kind of treasure is it?" You respond, "No one knows. People have tried to search for it but have ended up lost in the middle of the desert at every single attempt they make at finding it." Yugi remarks, "So it's a lost cause?" You said, "Not exactly, more like a dead end that's not really a dead end." Yugi replied, "That sounds really confusing. It seems like everyone wanted that stone just so no one else can get to it." You nod, "Pretty much, only one problem though: no one knows the actual location of the stone. It's led explorers mto a certain spot, then it just forces them to try and find their way back to where they began." Yugi exhales, "This is going to be more complicated than I thought." You nod, "Now there's only one other problem left." Yugi questions, "What problem would that be exactly?" You answer, "Now we have to find the stone or else we won't be the only ones who suffer."
