Yugi had tears in his eyes as he stared at your unmoving body. He didn't move from his spot until he heard Pegasus speak, "Yugi-boy, please don't do this to yourself. I know that she wouldn't want you to either." Yugi's grandpa adds, "Yugi, I know you want her to wake up but you shouldn't blame yourself over something neither of you could control."

You were brought into a hospital room at the Domino City Hospital where you were taken into the operating room. Yugi paced back and forth, his emotions betraying his fragile heart. "Yugi." His grandpa reassured Yugi, "She's going to be alright. Don't worry over this too much. I'm sure Y/N would say the same thing to you." Yugi thought to himself, "I should've been there before everything happened, I could've saved her. Now she has to suffer the consequences of the entire thing." The operating room light has turned off, signalling that the operation had ended. Yugi stayed silent as the doctor said, "Miss L/N is just fine. She is resting at the moment, she can have people visit her later in the day." Yugi became relieved that you were okay but was disappointed when he heard that he wouldn't be able to see you until later.

***Later that day***

You didn't know where you were. "Hello? Is anybody there?" Nothing. You couldn't see or hear anyone around you. What was happening and what happened with the enemy? Were they still there? Those were the questions the spun around in your subconscious.

Pegasus said to the lilac-eyed boy, "Yugi-boy, you can go see her now." I hope she's okay. Yugi glances at his belt where your deck was, waiting to be reunited with you. He goes to your hospital room and sits in the chair beside you, as your body laid in a sleeping state. Yugi began to speak, "Y/N, I don't know if you can hear me but I'm glad that you aren't in a worse condition than I thought you would be. There's so much I want to say to you. I've faced these new obstacles with your help. I don't know how I'd be able to face them if you weren't there to guide us all to where we are now." Yugi's eyes widen when he saw you stir slightly, eyes beginning to open. Yugi hears you groan slightly. You croak, "Yugi?" Yugi replies, "Y/N! You're awake!" He pulls you into his arms and you hear him add, "We were all so worried about you, Y/N." Yugi. You have no idea how much this hurts my heart right now. You hear someone clear their throat, causing Yugi to pull away quickly and you to giggle at his actions. You see the others standing at your door and they begin to walk in, as if nothing had ever happened.

Serenity had tears in her eyes, "Y/N I was so worried about you!" You awe at the sweet words, and hug Serenity with a gentle touch. "Serenity." It was Joey that pried her off of your injured body. Joey said gently, "Hey Serenity, be careful. She's injured, remember?" Serenity nods and hugs her older brother tightly. You ask, "So what happened?" Duke said, "Well we heard some kind of explosion and that's when we found you lying on the ground." Joey continued for Duke, "This creepy girl appeared and said something about "rising again" or something like that. Yugi had the idea of combining his deck with yours so he could defeat that creep. It worked, but I'm sure that his mind can't stop thinking of what happened before." Téa remarks, "I'm just happy that you're okay, Y/N." You respond, "I'm happy that you're all okay too. Is your grandpa okay, Yugi?" Before he could respond to you, Grandpa Muto and Pegasus came into the room, as your friends made their way out. Pegasus spoke with relief, "I'm glad that you aren't hurt. You took a huge risk going out there while not knowing what you would get yourself into." You pointed out, "I did know the risk, Uncle, that's why I took the chance. I didn't want any more people to go through what you and Mr. Muto went through, no one would want to witness that kind of trauma. I don't think that anyone would wan their loved ones to go through a secret door if they already knew the secret." Grandpa Muto said, "Thank you for saving us, Y/N.'' You reply, "I didn't save you though, it's Yugi that deserves the credit. He went and saved the world from turning into otherworldly food." Yugi objected, "That's not true at all, Y/N! You were the one that went out there in the first place to fight against them! You were researching for hours on end ever since random people began to disappear from Domino City, you deserve more credit than you think, Y/N.'' You shake your head, "I guess it's an equal credit thing, Yugi. No one truly knew who really saved the world from chaos and an almost destructive result."

It was about several hours later, you had just arrived back at the mansion, being greeted by everyone that was there. You ask, "Are you sure you're okay, Uncle Pegasus?'' He waves off your questions and remarks, ''I'm more worried about you, my dear niece. You took a greater hit than the others did and you are already having a hard time moving on as it is due to that broken mindset inside of you. I think that you need to stay here for a little bit, so you can recuperate after that almost disastrous battle from before."

You thought to yourself, "Is he trying to say that I shouldn't see Yugi or the others for a while? Or is he just looking out for me?"

A/N: Hi......yeah I know what you're thinking. I feel proud that I could even publish this before I turned into some kind of Spellcaster dust or something.....(I think that was my subconscious talking). Anyway, enjoy the chapter and comment your reactions.
