Chapter 5

****The following morning****

How did I not think of this before? They were always arguing over some "creatures". I didn't think that they would be talking about them.

You got dressed quickly after seeing the time, not wanting to be late for school. You grab your bag and run out the door, words from before haunting your mind.

As you walk on to school property, you see a large crowd in front of the door. What's going on this early in the morning? You hear a random student yell, "That's her! That's Maximillion Pegasus' niece!!" Spoke too soon. Run for it, Y/N! You hear a crowd behind you forming and chasing after you. You felt yourself being pulled by someone and you suddenly see Duke, who motions you to be quiet. The crowd passes by the both of you, making you sigh quietly. Duke whispers, "What was that about?" You shrug, "I have no idea but I have a feeling someone leaked information about me being Pegasus' niece somehow." Duke said, "Let's find everyone else." You nod as you were following him.

"Why would random people want to go after Y/N? It doesn't make any sense to me." You stayed silent as Duke explained what had happened before. That must mean whoever is after us knows who I am and has something against Pegasus. "This isn't some kind of prank, I'm worried." That was Téa's response. You don't realize that Yugi was calling your name until you heard a loud sound, which made you jump in surprise. Yugi asks, "Are you okay, Y/N?" You reply, "I'm just spacing out. I agree with Téa though, this is worrying. Whoever leaked the info must have something against Pegasus or Industrial Illusions." You add, "There has to be something more that we can find out about these people, whoever they are." Yugi pointed out, "Didn't that happen back at Pegasus' mansion?" You respond, "I don't even know what happened. There was a black cloud that engulfed my body and I suddenly saw some weird shadow within the cloud. Then it just said something 'about the world being theirs for an eternity'." Their eyes widen in shock and Joey says, "That's just crazy! Why would they want to come after us?" You respond, "I don't know, Joey. I'm afraid of what might happen over the next few weeks and it's not going to be something good, that's for sure." Joey then adds, "Okay, creepy voodoo stuff aside, I want to duel you, Y/N!" That changed quickly. Tristan rolls his eyes and replies, "Why am I not surprised?" You said, "Are you sure? I'm not very good." Joey answers, "That doesn't matter to me! I want to see how strong you are!" You reply, "Okay, I can't deny you there. Let's duel." Joey said, "How about after school?" You nod, "That's fine with me."

****After school****

You see Joey standing with Yugi, Tristan, Duke and Téa. You were nervously thinking to yourself, "Let's hope that I don't make a total fool out of myself." Joey said, "You ready Y/N?" You nod and you both say, "Duel!" Okay deck, don't let me down. Joey says, "I'll start by summoning Axe Raider in attack mode! I end my turn with two cards face down. Your move, Y/N." You breathe out, "Okay, let's do this. First I activate the spell Sun Crystal Enchantment." Yugi became confused, "Never heard of that before." You continue, "With this spell, if my opponent has a monster on the field and I don't, I can add a monster with "Sun Crystal" in its name! Now I'm summoning Sun Crystal Sorceress in attack mode!" Sun Crystal Sorceress: 1500/1000 (Level 3). A sorceress similar to Magician's Valkyria appears but she wears burnt orange sorceress clothing with an orange jewel in the centre of her chest and darker orange outlines, her hair a shade of dark chocolate colour and her staff was the same colour as her clothing. Her eyes were a shade of jade green. Joey was amazed, "Cool!" You add, "I activate her special ability where if she's on the field, I can summon another Spellcaster to the field! I summon Sun Crystal Sage Hera to the field in defense mode!" Sun Crystal Sage Hera looked like the goddess Hera, she wore Greek goddess clothing with an olive wreath in her autumn hair and held a staff encased with the Greek symbol of strength. Sun Crystal Sage Hera: 1600/1500 (Level 4). You continue, "Now Sun Crystal Sorceress let's me draw two more cards! I end my turn with three cards face down." Duke became amazed, "That one monster let her summon two monsters in one turn!" Téa said, "Y/N is sure quick with her movements." Yugi comments, "She says that she's not good but she just made some really smart moves."
