Kunlun Mountain Part 4 - The Return

Chapter 25 - Truth

Kunlun Mountain.

"We can discuss her whereabouts soon Da Ge, but right now, you are still weak.  Your body and energy has undergone severe change, so you need to rest and gather strength in order to realign your centers.  Bai Qian will be here along with Gaogui tomorrow." Ye Huas informed him gently but firmly.

Not wanting to stay another second in his bed, Mo Yuan rose to sit up which Ye Hua assisted him with.  But as he looked about his chamber, he suddenly turned towards him.

"Gaogui?" he asked looking back at him in wonder.  He had a feeling he knew who he was talking about, but he had to hear it for himself.

"Your son Da Ge.  His name is Ānxiáng Gāoguì 安详高贵."   Ye Hua said with a soft smile knowing this information would please his brother and it did.

Smiling with tears in his eyes, Mo Yuan repeated the name several times before nodding his head at them all.  "What is he like?  Does he take after his mother?" he asked keeping his gaze on his brothers face.  

Chuckling softly, Zhe Yan and Di Jun looked at each other with a knowing glare, but it was Ye Hua who answered him with a small chuckle of his own.

"In his earlier years, he was very much like his mother.  Full of mischief and highly opinionated.  But he lost those tendencies as he grew.  He is more like you in many ways, but he also takes features from you both.  I would even say he was handsome, and if anything  he gained more good looks than most and he will no doubt have women clamouring for him the moment he becomes known." Ye Hua said still chuckling to himself, but that only confused Mo Yuan.

"Becomes known?  Why is he not known?" he asked fearfully.  The Fox Clan were highly reclusive, had he been hidden from view the entire time? he wondered to himself.

And it was then that all three men gave Mo Yuan the full story of his sons upbringing, the special features only he had in regards to his tails and the colouring of his dragon form, as well as the effects the blood bloom had had on him.  They also informed him of the training he underwent among the Demons, and then his disappearance for thirty thousand years.  But it was when Mo Yuan was informed of where his son had been the entire time he began to worry.

His mind was still in disorder from his long slumber, it was taking some time for him to grasp this new information, because his mind was undergoing its own form of healing as he tried to process what the effects of the blood bloom would have had on his son and the reason why those people had taken him.

He remembered hearing about them as a child, but little was mentioned because they were a sacred people from a time and place that rarely met with worlds like theirs.  But when they did, there was always a reason they would never comprehend no matter how many lives they lived.  

But what he did know was that they were fate itself.  The Orchid people only ever showed themselves when a fate demanded their attention.  And whatever the reason was behind their plans for his son, they would not necessarily mean it was going to be good for him and that worried him.

"He is only forty five thousand years old Mo Yuan, but he is already in a class of his own." Zhe Yan said firmly in order to still the misgivings he could see in the mans eyes.  "He is very powerful.  Not only did he completely wipe out every Ghost Dragon alone with ease, but Xiao Wu too has grown beyond even my wildest expectations.  She is extraordinarily powerful, her energy and abilities have soared to a height I never would have thought possible had I not seen it for myself." he added, which did not nothing to still his fears.

In fact it increased his worry.  That both of them were not with him when he awoke suggested something far more important had kept them away and that something had to do with those people.  He knew she would have wanted to be with him when he awoke, he also knew his son would have wanted to be there for him too, after all the boy had stayed with him the entire time he was in the Chaos.  And having been raised by the Orchid People, that suggested they had been trained for a specific purpose.
