E: se é questo ció di cui sei preoccupato,non ci sono ragioni per esserlo.

S: in questo caso,dimmi pure quello che devi dirmi: sono tutto orecchi.

Dal suo atteggiamento sembra essere sollevato nel sapere che nulla é davvero cambiato per lui,ma nello stesso tempo sembra anche disposto ad ascoltarmi senza nessun problema.

E: I've been through some issues with myself and I had to go to a therapist.

E: ho avuto qualche problema con me stessa e sono dovuta andare da uno psicologo.

S: what kind of issues?

S: che tipo di problemi?

E: none of your business. Shortly I made hypnotizing sessions and I found out about you.

E: non sono affari tuoi. In breve ho fatto delle sessioni di ipnosi e ho scoperto di te.

S: what exactly about me?

S: cosa di preciso riguardo a me?

Il suo tono,unito alla sua espressione,sembra quasi volermi fare un interrogatorio,ma anche se voglio rispondere alle sue domande,non voglio scendere troppo nello specifico,perché non deve per forza sapere tutto.

E: I saw you in an old pic in a house I didn't remember ever being in. There was you,mum,and a little girl that was obviously me. Then I had other hints that leaded me on you.

E: ti ho visto in una vecchia foto in una casa in cui non mi ricordavo di essere mai stata. C'eri tu,la mamma e una piccola bambina,che ovviamente ero io. Poi ho avuto altri indizi che mi hanno portato a te.

S: but why did you think of me that way? What made you think I was who I was?

S: ma perché hai pensato di me in quel modo? Cosa ti ha fatto pensare che fossi chi ero?

E: I guess I just could feel it inside of me,but I didn't want to admit it,so I did search about me and my story. I found out my real father was you and my name is Emma Cornelia Reynolds.

E: credo di averlo solo sentito dentro di me,ma non volevo ammetterlo,così ho fatto ricerche su di me e la mia storia. Ho scoperto che eri il mio vero padre e che il mio nome é Emma Cornelia Reynolds.

Dire queste cose mi fa sentire già in parte sollevata: ricordare tutto quel periodo non posso negare che mi faccia male,ma se tutta la sofferenza mi ha portato ad oggi,sono contenta ne sia valsa la pena.

S: you're saying nobody helped you find all this out?

S: stai dicendo che nessuno ti ha aiutata a scoprire tutto questo?

E: no one.

E: nessuno.

Sembra essere molto sorpreso dal fatto che io abbia scoperto tutto da sola e sono quasi sicura che se avesse potuto,sarebbe tornato indietro nel tempo e non mi avrebbe fatto scoprire nulla.

S: do your parents know you found all this out?

S: i tuoi genitori sanno che hai scoperto tutto questo?

E: of course they do. We argued a lot because they've kept all hidden from me for years,but now we're fine. I understood why they did it and I moved on.

E: certo. Abbiamo litigato molto molto per il fatto che me l'hanno nascosto per anni,ma ora stiamo bene. Ho capito perché lo hanno fatto e sono andata avanti.

S: then why are you here?

S: allora perché sei qui?

E: because you're my unfinished business and I need answers to be able to put down an end at the chapter you have in my life.

E: perché sei la mia questione in sospeso e ho bisogno di risposte per essere in grado di mettere una fine al capitolo che occupi nella mia vita.
