A new school year has started in Storybrooke. With the other fantastical things that go on in that town, you imagine people may think school isn't much of a priority. But a new school year is starting anyway, and you're glad to be able to work at the local school as a teacher's aide.
It is through your job that you meet the new teacher's aide that has been working with Snow White.
"I'm Y/N," you say to her. "It's nice to meet you. Are you new around here?"
She nods. "I'm Shirin. I am new around here. I came from the Land of Untold Stories."
"Oh." So far, you haven't heard many good things about the Land of Untold Stories, but Shirin seems like a nice woman. "So, how are you liking Storybrooke?"
"Oh, I like it very much so far," she says. "How long have you been here for?"
"A long time," you answer. "Longer than I think I would have liked."
"Have you ever wanted to leave Storybrooke?" she asks.
"Well, I've thought about it. Given all of the problems with the town border, though, I don't know if I would want to take the risk."
You feel sort of awkward, standing here with her. She's a beautiful woman, and looks at you with a kind smile. You have no idea what to say.
"Well, I should be getting back to class," she says. "It was nice to meet you, Y/N."
"Yeah. Bye."
As she walks away, you wish you could have thought of something more to say. Maybe if you can work up the nerve, you can ask her to hang out with you sometime.
