You sit silently on the edge of your seat as Jafar paces. You know that look and those movements; this is how he is when he's planning something.
"So, enchanting the Sultan has worked," you say. "What about the plan to marry Princess Jasmine?"
"That is still a work in progress," he answers. "She is very stubborn, and seems to be attempting to find any way she can stop me that she can. She should know it won't work. I'm far more powerful than she thinks."
"And...once you marry Princess Jasmine, what do you plan to do then?" you ask.
"To dispose of her and take control of Agrabah, of course. I can't afford the risk of keeping her alive once I'm the sultan. I'll have to get rid of her quietly, and make it look like an accident."
"And what do I do?" you ask. "Just sit by and watch? You haven't mentioned me once."
He stops pacing and looks at you. "You don't think I forgot you? Y/N, this marriage to Princess Jasmine is merely political, part of my plan. I don't love her. As soon as I can, I'll get rid of her and her father. They won't be able to stop me."
"And what do I do while you're rising to power?"
"Isn't it obvious, my dear? You're going to be my queen. Once the sultan and the princess are out of the way, there will be no one to stop us. It has always been part of my plan for you to be my queen."
"Always?"
He nods. "Always, Y/N. I would never leave you behind."
