Hey so I know all of you may not know who this is, but I personally think it's kind of cute and doesn't really require knowing who's who in the band :) and I also know that all of you may not have your parents, or may not have siblings or whatever your situation is, but I can't get it right for 2k+ people. If you have an odd family situation, I can relate ❤️
~Xo, M :)

I expected crying, but I didn't expect it from the adult. Well, not a full on sobbing session anyway. "Brian?" I questioned, adding quietly, "Are you okay?"

He nodded, smiling through his tears and said, "Yes. I'm absolutely perfect." He looked up from the tiny newborn in his arms and looked at me, "We have a baby girl, Y/N. Can you believe that?" I smiled and said, "Yes and no. She's absolutely perfect."

A small smile crossed his face again and he nodded, "Yeah, she is. I can't believe she's ours." I smiled too and said, "Yeah, it's hard to believe y/d/n is ours."

He smiled and stood slowly and carefully from his chair and gently placed the tiny human in my arms. "I'm gonna go get our families," he told me, wiping his eyes and kissing my forehead and squeezed my shoulder. I grinned a little, dazed, as he walked out the door. A nurse came in after he left and smiled gently at me. She was about forty five with her faded brown hair pulled back and a kind smile, I noted– always too observant.

"Did everything go well, Mrs. Haner?" She asked, coming over and checking my vitals and everything. "Yeah, thanks for asking," I replied, smiling in response to hers.

"Well, I'm your nurse for the next couple of days. I'm Jenna, by the way," she said absentmindedly, copying things from the computer to what I'm assuming is mine and y/d/n's charts. "Well, then you can call me Y/N," I responded, smiling a little at y/d/n as I did. I tucked the blanket closer to her and gently ran my hand over the top of her head. Gosh she's beautiful, for a tiny human that looks like a potato. (A.N. I'm sorry... babies do tend to look like a potato when they're first born 😂😂 I'm mean lmao)

Brian stepped back in a couple minutes later and Jenna excused herself so our families could fit comfortably. There was McKenna (Mac), Mama and Papa Gates, and Bri obviously, then there was my parents and my brother and sister.

"Where's your brother?" I asked Brian and he said, "He's in another part of the state. He should be round tomorrow." I nodded and turned to the two families. "Who wants to hold her first?" I asked and they all shrugged.

I noticed that Mac was the youngest, only being fifteen, whereas my brother is seventeen and my sister is twenty six. Bri and I are both twenty three, so we're in the middle, so I turned to her first. "Do you wanna hold her?" I asked, nodding my head in her direction. Her eyes widened and she asked shyly, "Really?" I nodded, "Sure. Just sit over here and I'll hand her to you." She did as I'd asked and I placed y/d/n gently into her arms, smiling when Brian helped her get used to the weight. "What's her name?" Mac asked, beaming happily when she looked up at us.

"Y/d/n," Brian replied, ruffling his sister's hair. Mama and Papa Gates smiled and side hugged each other, as did my parents and my siblings.... well, the siblings simply blinked at each other, but they weren't arguing.

Mac held y/d/n for a few minutes before she turned to y/b/n and handed her to him. He sat down quickly after seeing my death stare. Brian and y/s/n smirked and I turned the glare onto them, playfully of course. They both backed off and I smirked, motioning for Brian to take the spot next to me on the bed. "Who's next?" Y/b/n asked after he was done holding her. "Me," Papa Gates said, stepping up and taking her from my brother's arms.
