It got even more boring as I got tired. That is, until the nurses started fighting again. The Air Force nurse was walking by so the Navy nurse yelled, "CHAIR FORCE!!"

She turned and said, "If we weren't at work, I'd back hand you!" He shook his head and turned to Vic and I with a satisfied grin, "She hates me." We laughed and I felt my phone vibrate.

I had a text from my friend, saying to tell the Navy nurse she thought he was awesome. He laughed and said, "Well, tell her she's awesome just for calling me awesome!" I laughed again and told her, turning off my phone afterwards. Eventually, the Navy nurse went off somewhere else.

Vic began patting his pockets frantically, "Oh shit where's my phone?!" I held back a laugh, "You left it in the car, idiot!" He stopped and looked at me, grinning. "Yes i did. Buuuuttt . . . will you go get it for me?"

I nodded and kissed his cheek before I went, "I'll be back."

So. I got lost. There are too many dang cars for this. I could see the hospital though, so that was a good sign. I'd already got Vic's phone, I just needed to find the dang hospital!!!

I got on the elevator and this man and woman (who I'm assuming are married) were having an argument. "No, I told you that she was in room 238!" He snorted and said, "No, you said 228!!!!" They continued like this all the way up to my floor and when I got off, I busted out laughing.

We sat around for a few more hours and I was reading Wattpad on my phone (yes I just did that.) The navy nurse was back and he kept saying every 10-15 minutes, "Get off Pokemon Go!" Every time, I'd laugh and say 'ok.'

Vic was watching me carefully until he says, "Hey, can we talk for a second?" Before I could respond, another group of doctors walked by. "Those damn doctors keep walking around in groups like turkeys!!!!" Vic stared at me oddly for a moment before he burst out laughing.

"Oh oh oh, look, another one . . . watch, these wild doctors might not be tame . . . oh shit ones headed this way!!" He whisper yelled the last part and I laughed again.

I couldn't wish for a better boyfriend than Vic, honestly, he's so amazing. "Hey, seriously, here comes a doctor," he says, pointing to the tall old looking dude.

"Ok, so he's doing fine, they are starting to close and everything is fine. It was in a record time, which is a good thing. The only thing is, he's gonna be staying in the ICU for the next five days. Have a nice afternoon."

I turned to Vic with tears in my eyes, "He's gonna be ok! Oh my unicorns, Vic, he's gonna be ok!!" He hugged me tightly, humming Hold on 'Til May. "Darling, I told you he'd be ok... Just like you. Cmon, let's go get some food."

The story behind these two are true. My best friend, Katelin's grandpa had to have open heart surgery today. I wrote these to cheer her up and everything used in this is true, well, except Vic unfortunately. And her brother got lost with her (I'm so sorry Katelin 😂😂😂😂). Anyway, the nurses are really arguing back and forth and yeah. I only added a few things, but I didn't change anything major.
