{TRIGGER: MENTIONS OF SELF HATRED (only once, but still...) }
"Dean, for the last time, you don't have to do this," I pleaded, following him as he packed the bag. "Y/N, I know you don't want me to, hell even I don't want to, but I have to do this. I have to do my job, it means saving people.""You know, Y/N, for once, he's right," Cas says from the corner, causing Dean to give him a dirty look. Cas smirked angelically and heaved himself up onto the counter.
Sam came around the corner and slung the bag on his shoulder. "Ready Dean? Y/N?" He asked absentmindedly, knowing I usually went on hunts with them. "Nah nah nah, she's not going," Dean cut in, earning a 'what did you just say' look from Sam. "What do you mean she's not coming with us?" Sam asked in annoyance, walking toward Dean.
"Exactly what I said, Sammy," he retorted sarcastically, "Just go with it." Sam shook his head, grabbing Dean's arm. "No, Dean. Y/N is one of our best hunters and you're making her stay at home?" He questioned, his voice rising.
"Yes, Sam, that's exactly what I'm doing. You would too if you were in my place. It's too dangerous," Dean snapped, leaving his brother hurt and in question. I'd already told Dean, but I hadn't told Sam yet. It was already a dangerous hunt, but it was even more dangerous for me.
Sam rolled his eyes and I smiled lightly, going over and handing him his machete. "Be careful, Sammy. I don't need to lose my brother," I said, kissing his cheek. "Ok but I'm not technically your brother. You're not married to Dean," he teased, dodging a punch to the arm. "Shut your mouth, you're the closest I've got," I retorted playfully, earning a smile from Dean.
Dean finished packing the bag and came over to me. "Hey, are you sure you'll be ok without me here?" He asked, slipping his arms around my waist. I shrugged, knowing how tempting his offer was.
"I'll be fine. Sammy needs your help. Bless the poor moose," I smirked back at him and he gave me the classic bitch face and subtle middle finger. I laughed and hugged Dean. "I swear to you, if anything goes wrong so help me, I am coming to Hell and dragging you out myself," I threatened, earning a laugh from Sam and a light chuckle from Dean.
He moved so he was making eye contact and I almost. "Nothing will happen and you certainly won't be dragging me out of Hell," he glanced at Sam, and lowered his voice, "Especially not in your condition." I groaned and snapped quietly, "Dammit Dean, I'm pregnant, not invalid."
Dean laughed and kissed me quickly, pulling back before kissing me again. "You two stay safe," he mumbled, which was caught by Sam. "Um... two?" He questioned, looking between Dean and I.
"Uh, yeah," Dean chuckled nervously, "Yeah, I was gonna call Cas to take care of her." I shot him a dirty look and he shrugged. I rolled my eyes and called, "Yo assbut, get your feathery ass down here." Sam snorted and Dean punched his shoulder, muttering, "Bitch."
"Jerk," Sammy retorted quickly, smirking at his brother. Dean smirked at me and put his head in the crook of my neck. "I love you, Y/N," he murmured, pulling back up with tears in his eyes. "Please, take care of yourself."
"Dean, I've been home alone before," I muttered, pushing him and Sammy to the door and handing them their stuff. "Now, go save some people," I said with a smile and as they left, Cas showed up.
He smiled brightly and said, "Hello Y/N. Sorry I'm late, I got caught up with some angel business." I laughed and hugged him. "Thanks for keeping me company," I mumbled, earning a light laugh from him. "No big deal. Dean had to find a way to cover your secretive asses," he smirked and I blushed deeply. "Hush Cas. Ow," I grabbed my head as there was a sharp pain.
