"Thanks so much Jake," I said as I took the spray paint from him. "Anytime," he nodded his head and I walked off to the stage where Aaliyah was already waiting.
I handed her one of the spray cans and we immediately got to work since Shawn was having Q&A soon. "Wow that looks awesome," Aaliyah said as she started spraying. I agreed and started as well. It didn't take us long and when we were done we quickly made a picture and sat down somewhere in the arena.
Just a few minutes later fans walked to the B-Stage where Shawn was having his Q&A soon.
"I have to get ready, see you later," I told Aaliyah right as I heard the screaming, signaling that Shawn was coming. I walked backstage and I locked eyes with Shawn as I passed him but I looked away after a split second.
I still felt a bit uncomfortable around him. I didn't want that but it's weird. Every time he looks at me I feel like he's judging me. I know it sounds crazy but I can't do anything about it and the fact that I was having a crush on him didn't solve my problem one bit.
I went to my dressing room and Ellie & Lena got me ready for stage.
"So we think it's time for a hair cut, don't you think?" Ellie asked as I sat down on the chair, in front of the mirror. My hair was indeed a bit to long for my liking and not in the best state.
"Do whatever, I trust you guys."
They put on some music and went to work. Ellie put a towel over the mirror so I couldn't see but I was a hundred percent sure that they would do a great job.
They washed my hair and Lena started cutting while Ellie sat on the table and sang along with me to the songs. Soon Lena was blow drying my hair and Ellie smiled and nodded her head in approval as I was done.
"Awesome, you look great."
"I'm gonna do your make up now," Ellie announced and started her work as Lena did some things with my hair. We talked for a long while and when I was finally done they took the towel away from the mirror and high fived each other as I looked at myself, speechless.
"We're in for some red today, are you?" Lena asked as she went to a rack with only red clothes. "Sure," I shrugged and continued to look at myself in the mirror. I looked great.
My hair was shorter now but was still a bit longer than shoulder length. It was a bit wavy and my make up was kept natural just how I liked it.
"Alright, I hung the outfit on the hook," Lena announced and I nodded before walking behind the plastic wall and spotted a red dress. I put it on and it reached a little under my middle thigh and had short sleeves. It was simple but beautiful.
"Wow, Shawn will drool all over you," Ellie smirked, making me role my eyes and stick my middle finger up at her. "I don't like him like that," I told her but she wasn't buying it, at all.
I hang out with the girls for a bit longer before getting to the Ping-Pong room where everyone was having a Ping Pong tournament, including Shawn who was done with his Q&A.
"Great, I'll play against Mila!" Mike announced as he threw the paddle at me. Everyone's eyes landed on me as I caught the paddle and positioned myself to give Mike what he deserved. I'll win this time, I feel it in my bones.
"Alright, but don't cry when you loose," I smirked, making him laugh.
"I won't. Trust me."
I ignored people's stares and concentrated on the game.
Unfortunately, I lost. Why can't I live in a cliché movie where my mom surprises me on tour on my birthday and where a girl, who's bad at ping pong, wins against someone who's really good, out of nowhere.
