Chapter 12; Struggle & Audition

"I need more music. I need every musician I like to drop an album. RIGHT NOW!"

I groaned as I searched for good music on spotify. I was getting tired of everything and no one was dropping music so I tried to at least get into the old stuff again.

"You still have half an hour," Andre laughed as he stared at his phone. He was siting across from me in the van and we were currently heading to the venue where the casting would be.

I let every One Direction song play and added some to my playlist before I moved on to Shawn and added just about every song to my playlist as well. I then looked at my playlist and deleted half of it before adding songs from other artists.

I went to my contacts and clicked on the call button of a certain person. He picked up after only two rings, "what's up Miles?"

"Harry I really really really need you to drop that fucking album or I'm gonna loose my damn mind," I said frustrated.

I heard him laughing  on the other line, making me roll my eyes. "Harry please! I get tired of listening to the same songs over and over again and no one is releasing music so I don't know what to do with my life."

"If you would let me work then I could get this album done quicker," he teased with a chuckle. "Ok," was all I said before hanging up. I really needed that album.

I scrolled through twitter as I finally had a decent playlist put together and noticed fans tweeting about me switching music every second. What?

I looked up the hashtag and soon found an account called @/JamilaOnSpotify that person somehow found out what I was listening to all the time. I looked through the recent tweets and changed my song just to see if that person really knew everything.

Suddenly that person posted a new tweet saying that I was listening to 'Party Monster' by the weeknd. It's true.

I then changed my song again and another tweet appeared. 'Jamila is now listening to 'Galway Girl' by Ed Sheeran...again'

Another tweet came up even though I didn't change my song.

'@/JamilaOnSpotify: wow she really doesn't know what to listen to today 😂'

I decided to respond to her saying,

'@/JamilaCarver: @/JamilaOnSpotify sadly you're right. I really need new music!!! 😂🙆🏼'

Within second hundreds of people responded to my tweet saying that I was right and that everyone was waiting for new music from literally every artist. Even accounts like ClevverTV and such responded to me saying that they definitely agreed.

I faved some tweets before closing the app and relaxing in my seat while looking out the window. "We're here," Andre snapped me out of my ten second relaxing session, making me groan. I should've done that earlier instead of jumping on Andre & Lauren's bed yelling at them to make lunch for good half an hour.

Andre & I were on a meeting this morning so he picked me up from Harry's and after the meeting we went home and woke up Lauren who slept all day until Andre & I arrived.
