Niall POV
After y/n fell asleep I asked the guys if they'd moved everything over to our house and had canceled y/n's apartment.
Louis: yes we got everything done. We even set up some of her things in her room.
Niall: she'll love that. I want her to understand that we want her around.
Liam: We hope you don't mine Niall but we also put a few of her items around the house. Like pillows and we put her couch in the theater room.
Niall: You guys are so great! That's perfect! I think she'll feel more at home now. Thanks lads!
Harry: You're welcome. We're gonna get out of here and finish setting everything up. See you tomorrow Niall.
All the boys left leaving Niall and you together.
I quickly kissed her forehead and then closed my eyes to sleep.
*Next Day*
I woke up and got ready while y/n slept.
Niall: good morning love. How are you feeling today?
Y/n: I'm feeling good. Sore but good.
Niall: that's good. The doctor will be by in a little while to decide if we can be discharged.
Y/n: I hope he says yes. I'm sick and tired of hospitals.
Niall: I think we should wrap you in bubble wrap! You'd be a lot safer.
We both laughed together. I love that laugh.
I put the tv on as we waited for the doctor to come in. The show y/n picked was worst cooks in America. Funny show but sad how many people think they can cook. One person used dog food in their food. That's just gross! I'm so glad I've learned to cook for myself. I'm not a master chef yet but I can make some great chicken and pasta.
Niall: what do you want to eat tonight? If we leave I'll cook.
Y/n: hum.... that's a good question. I love chicken fettuccine Alfredo.
Niall: That sounds so yummy. We can stop by the store on the way home.
Y/n: I love to bake and cook. Not to brag but one time a friend of mine said that he dreams about my fudge. I make some pretty mean fudge!
Niall: you'll have to teach me!
Y/n: I'd love to!
An hour later the doctor arrived to check on y/n.
Doctor: Hello mrs. Y/l/n. How are you feeling today?
Y/n: I'm good. Sore but that's my life now. Haha
Doctor: do you feel you're ready to leave?
Y/n: Yes. I do
Doctor: Before I can discharge you I need you to promise you will let people help you. We don't need you ending up back here again. I don't want to see you for another 4 weeks. That's when we'll take off the casts and do some X-rays.
Y/n: Yes doctor I promise. I think I've learned my lesson.
Doctor: Good. Then we'll get the paperwork ready and you can go home.
Y/n: thank you doctor.
The doctor left the room and I was alone with y/n again.
Y/n: Niall this is going to be so hard. I'm not gonna lie. It's hard for me not to have something to do or someone to take care of. I feel useless when I can't do anything.
Niall: we will figure something out okay? I promise you.
Y/n: Okay.
The nurse came in to help y/n get dressed so I stepped out into the hall and called the boys. I had a big idea for helping y/n. I'd seen something about it on YouTube.
I wheeled y/n down to the car and helped her in. On the way home we stopped at the local Tesco and I bought what we needed for food supplies. Y/n was excited to be out of the hospital and in a shop. I bought her a chocolate bar when we left. I text Liam and asked him if both of y/n's surprises were ready. He told me that the second surprise would be ready tomorrow. We pull up to the house and the boys come out to greet y/n. We all go inside. Gemma is sitting on the couch looking upset. Y/n asks me to bring her over to Gemma.
Gemma: Y/n I'm so sor....
Y/n: No Gemma I'm sorry. I should have asked for help. It's my fault. And I'm sorry to have upset you. I promise from here on out I'll ask for help instead of trying to do things on my own. Do you forgive me?
Gemma: I forgive you. I understand it's hard not to be so mobile. Do you mind if tomorrow Lottie and I take you to the mall? Have some girl time?
Y/n: That would be wonderful. I promise I won't do anything wrong tomorrow.
Niall: Awesome I'm glad you two have made up again. Y/n I want to show you a surprise. Let's go to your room.
I take y/n to the elevator and we start down the hall to her room.
Niall: close your eyes!
She closes them and I wheel her inside.
Niall: You can open them now!
She gasps in surprise!
Y/n: Niall is that my stuff? How'd you get my things from my apartment?
Niall: Well y/n the guys and I talked about it. We know that you've been having a hard time paying your rent and with you being layed up we though we'd help. At least for now we've moved you out of your flat. All your things are here so you don't have to pay for it while you're not living there. We can talk about getting you a new flat later. But for now this is your home.
She started to cry.
Niall: love did I upset you?
Y/n: Thank you! No one has ever been this nice to me! Thank you so much! I'll never be able to repay you!
Niall: the joy you bring to us is repayment enough. Now let's go downstairs and make dinner! How does that sound?
Y/n: I love that idea.
We went downstairs and made dinner. Y/n helped bake some cookies. Then we watched a movie till we all fell asleep.
