Sorry for the delay (broken phone)

Snoke was dead. The being who had managed to convince me to do so many crazy and dangerous things was gone. What was more was that it was by my hand. I had killed him to protect Hux.
What was crazier was what we were about to do. As Hux and I slowly and painfully walked to the ship's landing site, we discussed plans. Our current plan was to fly back to Starkiller Base and declare our authority. They would not be allowed to deny us. We had defeated Snoke, and not only that, both Hux and I had possessed leadership positions in the order, giving us experience.
Our main problem would probably be someone like Captain Phasma. She had a lot of power. Within her group of stormtroopers, she had almost half of Starkiller Base's special ops troopers. They were all singularly loyal and also deadly.
After over a week of slow traveling, we reached our ship. We boarded it and then headed for the nearest inhabited planet that could offer us medical facilities.
We landed on a planet known as Taris. It possessed a variety of climates and cultures, but we chose to forgo the sightseeing. Both I and Hux were injured, and we did not dare to try to storm Starkiller Base in anything less than perfect health.
We spent about three days recovering and having somewhat of a honeymoon on the planet. We had a small hotel room where we stayed when we were not in intense healing sessions.
Hux and I spoke of the future. We spoke about our hopes for what we would do after we were ruling the galaxy. Hux surprised me with a desire for children. "Naturally," he had said, with his typical logical approach,"we would have to adopt or get a donor or a good genetic engineering and cloning company on it, but it could happen."
I had replied with a bit of surprise, but joy nonetheless. I would have no issue at all with a child. I would have someone to give a future and an education to. I would be able to lavish all of the attention I wanted on a child. Both Hux and I would have the galaxy at our disposal. One of our greatest inspirations for the work we set out to do was the fact that we did it for any children we might produce in the future.
When we were well, however, the romantic conversations and the talks of child care ceased. It was time for business. If we could not take Starkiller Base, we would fail. Despite our skill, we did not have the ability to completely, and successfully, conduct a siege of the Base.
For that reason, we recruited my taskforce, the Knights of Ren. These were not a force to be reckoned with. They hunted those dissidents and those with a connection to the Force. They all had blood on their hands and were skilled in the art of death. Few would consider that a recommendation, but I did.
With two dozen of them and myself and Hux, we set out to take Starkiller Base. I hoped that we would be able to just talk our way through it. After all, these were our men. Both I and my husband had trained them and helped them. I had no desire to harm those I had invested so much in, and neither did he.
Nonetheless, we had a quest to complete and a goal to reach. If we could not take down resistance at this base, we had no hope. Starkiller Base had too many assets for us to let it fall into enemy hands.
When we jumped out of hyperspace and came into view of it, Hux and I donned armor we had bought during our tenure on Taris. We had gotten armor that would deflect most types of blasters and even lightsabers. It was called Mandalorian Armor. I tested it with my saber, and it worked as well. My saber only scraped off the paint.
Once we were ready, we kissed. "This won't be the last time, right?" I asked Hux. "Because we don't have a son yet."
"Or a daughter." Hux kissed me as if he would never see me again. "But we will be together again."
Our plan was to first a assemble everyone by way of universal commands issued to each trooper. Due to me and Hux's former positions, we could make false commands from other troopers' accounts. This would be made from Captain Phasma, and this would bear her authority. We were going to command everyone to report weapon less to the main landing pad where the laser would also be launched someday. We would try to convince them to join us, and if that did not work, well, we would make it up as we went.
I would not be denied, and I would not take no for an answer. We were so close. The First Order would be ours.
