I'm sorry for how bad chapter ten was. I just started a job, and I still have school and last night I was really tired. I know I messed up my PoVs and stuff, but I fixed it. I might miss a couple days, but I will keep trying to post.

Hux PoV

I rented a small house by a lake for a copious amount of money. It was slightly extravagant, given that we were only stopping on the planet for a couple days. But these couple days were going to be the best days of both me and Kylo's lives. We would live in this little house together, away from anyone threatening us. We could just be happy and pretend to be normal people for a couple days. We could pretend not to have the galaxy's fate on our shoulders.

Not to say that I resented my duties as a General, or that Kylo resented his duty as a legacy of Darth Vader. No, we were both dedicated to the First Order's cause. But it would be lying to say that I did not sometimes wish that someone else had been called to restore the galaxy. It was a hard, thankless job that had gotten both Kylo and I in the crosshairs of some of the most dangerous beings in the galaxy. We would never have the easy, relaxed, peaceful live of the people we would help. We would sacrifice the idea of a comfortable relationship on the altar of the galaxy. We would never be at peace, we would most likely not see each other much, and I doubted that we would be able to live in the same home.

Little things like what we were doing now were things I would remember forever. To some people, this kind of thing was normal, but for us, it was a magical thing.

After I rented the house, I met Kylo at the coordinates he had told me he was at. He was currently dealing with a starship dealer. He was trying to buy a nice Firespray-class starship. It had advanced shielding technology, laser, turbo, and ion cannons, a state of the art hyperdrive, and a brand new coat of paint. It was extremely nice.

"130,000 Credits," the Twi'lek dealer said stubbornly, "not a credit less."

I looked at Kylo and shrugged. I had the money, and the price was reasonable. Nevertheless I hoped he would be able to barter his way out of it.

"How about 90,000?" Kylo suggested. It was a ludicrously low offer. I knew what he was doing. He offered the dealer an unbelievably low price, encouraging the dealer to lower his own price to try to compromise.

"127,000," the Twi'lek rolled his eyes at us,"no less."

"100,000," Kylo retorted coolly. "It's my final offer."

"110,000. I've already budged too much. If you don't like this, leave." The dealer stood with his hand out, waiting.

"It's a deal," I said, shaking his hand and handing him the credits. Saving 20,000 was good enough.

"Well, now we have a ship. So, how do you want to spend the rest of today?" Kylo asked me. "Get some nice clothes and get a nice dinner? Like we did in Coruscant." He smiled at me.

"Let's eat at the house. I had noticed food in the storage. It's all good and new," I replied,"we could eat in the little pavilion overlooking the lake."

"Romantic," Kylo replied, his tone fond. "That's fine with me."

When we got home, I set to preparing a meal while Kylo cleaned out the pavilion with the Force. It took about an hour, but by then the sun was setting. We were sitting outside, bathed in the glow of the setting sun.

"That was delicious." Kylo said. "How did you do that?" He asked me. "The spices in the meat were so tangy and sweet at the same time!"

"I used a citrus fruit juice with the gravy." I replied. "There were all sorts of cooking things back there. I am glad you liked it." I blushed a little bit.

Suddenly, Kylo grabbed my hand. "I want to do this, because the one thing I admired about my parents was their love. We are on the planet where my grandfather did this as well. But this is my choice, no one else's." He looked into my eyes. "I want you to be marry me. I beg of you, Hux. Be mine."

I gasped a little bit. I did not know how to respond at first. It was a little bit of a shock. But my heart responded before any other emotional capacity recovered. "Yes. Yes, I will marry you, Kylo Ren. You will be the only man. I love you." I kissed him long and hard, savoring the sweet flavor of the juices on his lips.

"I guess I'm more like Vader than I thought," Kylo grinned to show he was in jest,"I'm going to be married on Naboo as well. And it's to a person my master disapproves of me being in union with."

I laughed long and hard. "You want to do this tomorrow?" I asked. "You want to make this happen now?"

"Yes. Because after this, remember, we probably won't have time." Kylo responded sagely.

"True. Then tomorrow it is. There have to be Naboo holy men, right? Then we can go out to eat." I was so happy. My heart was ready to burst. Kylo Ren was going to be my husband. We would be together for as long as we both lived, and perhaps, even past that point.
