Chapter 19: Our Future Awaits

*Yumi's PoV*

Ruki and I then parted from our kiss, and began walking to the classroom, where the Night Class already is.

"Hey. Kazeryu told me to pass a message on to you." Ruki said.

"What message?" I said.

"About going to visit some pack of wolves who were guarding the herb and feeding them meat." He said.

"Oh! I know them! Aki-chan, Yoru-chan and the others! I didn't know that they were the ones that guarded the antidote! I must go and thank them!" I said surprised.

"When do you want to go?" Ruki said.

"Maybe when we leave Cross Academy." I replied.

My brothers and I decided that we would leave Cross Academy and go back to Ryoutei. I'm happy that I met everyone here in Cross Academy, but I kind of miss my old life there. Plus, I think this is for the best.

"You want to go back to Ryoutei? Didn't really like Cross Academy?" Ruki asked.

"No. In fact, I love this school. But to be honest, I miss the annoying teachers and of course, study hall." I said.

Ruki chuckled. "I do kind of miss Ryoutei as well. Now when we go back, you and I can be in study hall together, and you don't have to be staring at me as I read."

I blushed fiercely. He knew that I was staring at him?!

"Heh. I knew that you were staring at me. Don't think I didn't know." He said.

"I-I don't know what you're talking about. C-come on, we should get to class." I said, attempting to change the subject.

"Sure, sure... Whatever you say, my dear Yumi." He said softly.

Ruki and I were approaching to class, and as we entered the classroom, Ayato instantly called out to us.

"Oi! Yumi, Ruki! Were you two able to have your 'special quality time?'"

"Yes, we did!" I replied with a pout.

"Yumi-chan!" I saw Yuki running up to me and embracing me tightly. Oh yeah... I haven't seen her since the time we were at Tsukinami Castle. I hugged her back.

"Yuki-chan..."

"I'm so happy you're back... Because I wouldn't know what I would do if I lost my older sister!"

"Awww..Yuki-chan! You're sooo adorable!" I hugged her even tighter. We all then went to our seats.

"No teacher today?" Ruki said.

"Nope. Seems like he took the day off." Yuma said.

I then saw that Hanabusa was looking at my ring finger.

"No way!!!" He said in an astonished tone. Everyone looked in his direction.

*Kaname's PoV*
I was, as usual, reading my book as there was no teacher in class today. However, I could not keep my curiosity away from the conversation that the others were having.

"We've decided to return to Ryoutei. The headmaster asked us if we wanted to become full-time students, but we declined." Reiji said.

"Aww, why? It's fun with you guys here!" Yuki said.

"I really don't care. Fewer people to deal with." Kiryu said.

"By the way, what's taking Yumi and Ruki so long? They should be here by now." Kou said.
