Chapter 12: Plans Unveiled

My eyes opened to see that the sun was setting. I got up and stretched my arms.

"Wow, I feel much better....I should get ready for class." I said to myself.

I got up from bed, and I no longer felt weak or dizzy.

I then got my Night Class uniform out of my closet, and hung it on one of the hooks on the wall.

I then prepared a bubble bath. I then put in the bubble soap, got undressed, and then sat in the lukewarm water.

"Now this is what I call relaxing." I said with a sigh, looking up to the blank wall.

About 15 minutes after taking a nice bath, I got out and dried myself then put on the Night Class uniform. I sat on the bed, and slid on the long black socks. I then put on the shoes and tied them.

I then went to my vanity and sat down, turning on the blow dryer and brushing my hair.

"The beautiful princess of the Sakamaki family.... Why choose him? He's nothing but cruel and a sadist.... Why him when there is someone so much better than him?"

The reflection of a man wearing a hood appeared on the mirror.

I turned around and there was no one.

Not showing fear, I looked at him, my eyes not wavering.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"So...you have forgotten me. It makes sense... I haven't seen you and Subaru since you were little children. Princess Yumi. You deserve the world. That man is nothing but trouble."

"...What would you know about him? There is a reason for him being that way."

"You are being warned. Give up your love for Ruki, or there will be measures that I am forced to take upon."

"Never."

"Don't say I didn't warn you, Sakamaki princess."

That man... Is Kazeryu. He watched over Subaru and I when we were kids. However, these days he's been doing Father's dirty work...

I quickly got my books and went to Ruki's dorm.

*knock knock*

"It's Yumi. May I come in?"

"Sure. But I'm going to take a shower. Mind waiting for me while I get ready?" He asked.

"Yeah." I answered.

I entered the dorm and the shower was already running as Ruki took his shower.

As I sat waiting for him, I saw a picture of him with his parents that was on his nightstand.

No one understands the pain he's been through. There's a reason why he acts that way. So far, I noticed some change in him so I guess I can say that is a good thing. I want to be by his side through every obstacle. He deserves happiness. He looked really happy as a little boy. He has such a nice smile. As I looked at the picture, Ruki came out of the bathroom, in his uniform ready to go.

"You had such a kind family..." I said.

"Thanks... " He answered with such a sad expression on his face.
