Chapter 7: Searching for the Truth

When Kaname and I arrived back to Cross Academy, and we were walking back to the Moon Dorms, Takuma came up to us.

"Kaname, the headmaster needs you at his office! Something about new students wanting to attend this school."

 Kaname looked confused at Takuma's declaration.

"New students? I didn't receive any requests, but I will check it out. Yumi, can you come with me real quick?" Kaname asked.

 I am actually curious to see who these new students are.

"Sure." I answered.

Then Takuma, Kaname, and I made our way to the Headmaster's office.

"So what kind of people are those people? Are they well known in the vampire world?" I asked Takuma.

"I haven't seen them before, so I'm not sure. I'm just guessing they are just typical vampires that want to attend the Night Class." Takuma answered.

When we made it to the Headmaster's office, there were two men sitting in front of the Headmaster's desk. 

They looked back at Kaname, Takuma and I.

"Wow, the both of you came as a surprise. I didn't receive anything from you. May I ask for your names?" Kaname asked.

"I'm Carla Tsukinami." 

"And I'm Shin Tsukinami." 

Those names... It stands out to me. It's like I've heard it before. But I can't put it out to who these two are.

"And you both are interested in attending this school?" Kaname said with a somewhat suspicious look.

"Yes, that is why we are here. This school caught our interest. The school looks very nice." Carla said.

The guy with the dirty blonde hair then came up to me and took my hand.

"What's your name, pretty girl?" 

I then freed my hand from his.

"Yumi Sakamaki. It is nice to meet you, Shin."

"Pleasure to meet you as well..." He answered, giving me a kiss on my hand.

"Oh, so you two are students from Ryoutei Academy as well.. Interesting. Your grades are acceptable as well.. I can make an exception. You both meet the requirements to attend the Night Class. You may be admitted by tomorrow night." Kaname said as he flipped through their records.

They go to Ryoutei Academy? I have never seen them there before. Maybe it is just the fact that I never noticed them?

"Thank you, Dorm President. Then we will see you tomorrow, then.." 

As they left, I felt like an uncomfortable presence had just left the room. 

Their presence, I didn't like it at all...

"Was that it, Headmaster?" Kaname said.

"Yes, that was it. How was your date?" He stated, changing the subject.
