You are finally done with all my crazy observations in the movies. So, we continue on with our two stories. The first one will be the next chapter for our sexy grumpy teacher.

Last time in 'Our sexy but grumpy fellow teacher';

Thorin looked up with a small smile. "Don't worry, you did a great job. It was surprising but not something I hadn't expected" he started. He leaned back in his chair a little, and looked at you with curious eyes.

"What do you mean?" you asked.

"From the little conversation we have had I gathered that you have a different point of view on the role of a teacher. And it showed in your class today." He was silent for a minute. "Your class does respect you, they listen to you and they learned a lot this way."

Your body was now positively on fire. Maybe he would know why it felt that way, he was the biology teacher.

"Why did you decide to let them teach your subject of the week before you do it yourself?"

You swallowed thickly. "Well, I thought it would get them to read into the subject before hand. I am hoping that this way they will see what benefits it has to read through the chapters before a lesson starts. The first period may be the best to show that to them."

"Hmm, do you think they will start doing that?" At your questioning look he re-phrased. "Do you think they will start preparing for your class from next period onwards?"

You shook your head. "Most of them won't, I bet. The least I can do is show them another way to which they are used. I feel like that is my job as a teacher."

"Then I have everything I need, miss Reynales." Thorin gathered his sheets. "The principal will receive a positive report from me. Have a good day." And he left.

It all happened so quickly that you had no time to register his words. Was this it? You had been worried during the whole class for this? Just a few questions and he was done?

"Miss Reynales? Can we come in already?" a student from the new class asked.

"Yes! Please, come in!"

"Welcome class, today you are going to learn about evolution. I want to see your textbooks on the table." Thorin turned towards his chalkboard to write down the notes for his students.

Whispers arose from behind his back when instead of the normal notes, the piece of chalk hung still in the air. Normally they would have to write fast to keep up with their teacher. When you weren't up to speed it meant that you wouldn't get all the notes during that lesson.

Thorin sighed and put the chalk down.

It was put down on his desk and he looked up at the students in front of him. "What comes to mind when you hear the word 'evolution'?" he asked.

Several students exchanged confused looks.

The room was so silent that you could hear the clock ticking in the hallway. Instead of glaring or loosing his temper, Thorin did something else. "It doesn't matter what you think of. What is the first thing that comes to your mind?"

A girl in the back of the class hesitantly raised her hand. The boy sitting next to her put his book up so Thorin wouldn't see him.

"Yes" Thorin said, nodding to tell her she could talk.

"I-I think... maybe, Darwin?"

"Very good. What do you know about Darwin?"

The girl' cheeks glowed with a dark shade of pink. She looked down at her book. "I thought it had something to do with selection?" she asked.
