Valka's P.O.V
I was done a tired with Stoick's attitude I mean I really love him and accept his flaws but this has gone on long enough. Our son who we had just gotten back his life is in danger and Stoick's just sulking in his room because Hiccup cracked it at him and to be honest I don't blame him. I've already had a talk with Stoick but it mainly consisted of yelled and screaming at each other until I left the room but no I need to slap some sense into him because if I don't I know Stoick will regret never helping and I don't want him miserable for the rest of his life. I quietly walked up the wooden stairs and made my way into Stoick's bedroom where he sat in his chair like last time but this time the chair was faced the back of it was facing me and Stoick could looked out the window into the village. I knocked softly and calmed myself down because I didn't want this conversation to end shouting and screaming, I will remain calm and strong so when he doesn't I can hopefully get through to him in the right way.
"It's me," I said softly.
"I know," Stoick calmly replied.
I walked in the room and took a deep breath, "Stoick I know you're upset about Hiccup, I-I am too but we can't just stay here and not do anything because if Alvin decides Hiccup is useful to him he's going to do more then lock him in a cell and wait for you to agree to his deal. Just please understand we need to come up with plans so we can get our boy back."
"Hiccup doesn't want to see me, he hates me," Stoick mumbled back.
I placed a hand on his should and stood next to him. I stared out the window to our village then looked back at the floor.
"Stoick if Hiccup is anything we think he is then you know he will get over it soon, he's our son, we're his family and that does mean something to him more then he wants to admit, if we give him time then he will open up but if we don't do something now to save him then we will never get that chance...that chance to finally be a family again," I explained
Then silence followed for the longest moment in my life as I thought maybe Stoick did takes Hiccup's angered words to heart and that he really does think Hiccup hadn't changed his mind. My hand began to slip off Stoick's shoulder as I turned away but then I felt a large warm hand cover my own before it fell. Stoick stood up and grabbed my other hand in his making me face him.
"I-I'm sorry," he said.
"Stoick," was all I could choke out.
"Lets go get our boy back," he smiled.
"So we can be a family again," I replied finding myself smiling also.
"Forever."
"And."
"Ever," we finished at the same time.
Hiccup's P.O.V
I woke up the next morning to find I had a killer headache and that it was very hard to sleep of a rough, rock surface instead of a smooth well worn out cave with fur skins as blankets. I rolled my head around in a circle before opening my eyes to a dim light which was all that could get through the rock walls and ceilings. I stretched my very stiff arms and...leg and waited for someone to come get me since Alvin had told me he was going to get someone to come get me today.
I have no idea what Alvin is planning to do but I know it's not going to be good. Just as I relaxed and finally got comfortable someone banged on the metal door making me jump and making my head throb worse. The guard outside was different from the one I had yesterday, he was just taller then me, he has a rough brown beard that hadn't been trimmed for a while now, brown-reddish hair that was tied back out of his face, he had big bushy eyebrows the same colour as his hair, he was well built and looked trained to kill. He unlocked the door and threw my metal leg at me.
