"Stop looking in the mirror and come sit with me Chimmie." You suggested to the younger boy who had been posing in front of the mirror for the past few minutes. He'd invited you into his room to watch a movie with him while the other boys were out, meaning Hoseok wouldn't be there to interfere if he wanted to enter his room. "You wanted me to watch this with you, not for you. Hurry-"

"I'm just.. Just give me a second." Jimin murmured under his breath He sounded displeased and uncomfortable but you assumed it was because of the way he was standing, pulling his clothes around as he studied himself, "Stop looking at me."

"If you aren't going to watch this I'll just go. I had things that I put down to come spend time with you but now you're wasting mine. Lets save this for another day." You hopped up off of Hoseok's bed which you'd been lying on, the first 10 minutes of the movie 'Black Mirror: Bandersnatch' had passed and you were eager to have Jimin join you as it's an interactive film and you wanted to make the choices together and hopefully fit in a few English lessons in between so he knew what was going on.

You'd dropped your lyrics you were in the process of writing for the new album when Jimin had told you the boys planned on going out. He sounded so excited when asking you to watch a movie with him while they were gone so you wouldn't be interupted, but you'd much rather work then sit alone and watch your brother stare into a mirror.

As you walked out and shut the door, you strode over to your own room and closed the door behind you, taking a seat at your desk. The paper was still there on your desk, scattered out, torn and crumpled in your frustrating attempts to compose a flawless contribution to the album. If it was to be labelled as yours, it couldn't have faults, you wouldn't have it.

Hours went by and you hadn't heard a single noise from outside of your room. Nothing but the scraping of your pencil against the paper in front of you. It was getting almost scary, you wondered if Jimin had left without you noticing the door open and close, but it normally shut with a loud click so he couldn't have.

You looked up from your notes and looked around your room, the eerie tranquillity making your ears hum. Suddenly as if on cue, your phone buzzed and sent a vibration through your wooden desk. Picking it up in your right hand after placing your pencil down, you entered your password and waited for your phone to open with a click. Clicking onto your messages, it was from Jimin.

Jimin: I'm going to the gym. I'm sure the boys will be back before me.

Oh no he won't. Last time he went to the gym to noticed his eyes stained red and the fat of his cheek puffed out and also tinted a bright shade of pink. It was clear he'd been crying and you didn't want him to overwork himself and come back in the same state again.

Hearing the front door open and the rustling of Jimin's clothes, you pushed yourself off of your desk chair and barged out of your bedroom to see the front door closing gradually. "Jimin, wait!" You shouted, catching the door just before it clicked shut.

He didn't turn to see you running after his down the corridor, until you grabbed his wrist and pulled him back inside, shocked to notice he wasn't resisting at all. You pulled him into his room and pushed him in front of the mirror he'd been obsessed over earlier. Standing there for a few seconds, you saw his face go blank as he just stared at himself.

"What do you see, Jimin?" You could see some life come back into his eye as he heard you spoke, although your question didn't seem to shock him much. "What's looking back at you through that mirror? Is it the same beautiful man I see, or is it something else?"

"It can't be me.." He almost whispered, still not taking his eyes away from the mirror. "It's disgusting."

"Oh Chimmie." You stepped forward and stood beside him. "You can't let it get to you, you can't let your negativity take over. Give your eyes a rub, shake it all off and look again." He did as you said and blinked a few times before looking back in the mirror, "What's looking back at you now?"

"Myself.." You saw a tear roll down his cheek and he looked down, taking his attention off of himself for a second. You turned to hug him, his petite body trembled in your grasp.

"You can't do this to yourself Chimmie. Don't let the harsh expectations get to you, you're perfect but your ruining it by working it all away. All the delicious meals I cook for you, hm? And you're just throwing them away and burning them off." You pouted, alerting him that you were aware of his habit of throwing food away to eliminate the temptation. He looked back up at himself.

"I'm.. sorry. It's wrong of me. I just don't see what others see, I see what I used to be and I feel like I'm endlessly trying to escape from my old image but I'm just shrinking and creating another body image to escape from. I can't seem to get it right." He sighed, pushing his hair back.

"Well I see what's inside, and looking in the mirror doesn't show that. Dig deeper Jimin, don't focus on what others see, work on what you see." You pokes the area of his chest where his heart is, "Work on what kind of world you see through your eyes. Your mentality is important too, and if its negative, you won't see the happiness around you."

"Happiness.." Jimin mumbled, a small smile appearing on his face. Oh how you wished he saw how gorgeous that smile is.

"Something you're very worthy of having, Jimin. Own it and be proud of your positivity. And if you lose it, even though it may be hard, you must find it again. It doesn't hurt to seek for help." You gave his hair a ruffle and walked over to Hoseok's bed. Sitting yourself down, you watch as Jimin slowly looks away from the mirror and at you.

"Now how about I heat up that fudge cake Seokjin got the other say and we have a movie night?" You proudly smiled, Jimin doing something completely unexpected.

"I'd like that, Noona." He smiled. The glow coming from his face was glorious, such beauty and life radiated from him.

"Be more confident, Jimin. Screw everyone else, as long as you're happy who cares what others think. Love yourself, Chimmie, because I love you~" You went over to the door to grab some food for the both of you, unaware of the tear cascading down Jimin's cheek as you left. He'd never felt so appreciated before, he'd never felt so happy.
