💭 Argument [Burn the Stage]

You and the boys were preparing for your next song. You were currently in Brazil while on your world tour, and you were about a quarter way through the concert. The next song was 'Fire', and you were all backstage getting changed into new outfits for the next stage. The room was crowded with all the members and a few members of staff.

You were adjusting your red jacket over your shoulders while you tried to recall the dance in your head. You remembered the whole choreography, all of it apart from the very last section. Standing beside the door, you looked over at Jimin who caught your gaze, "Jimin, could you run me through the last part of the fire choreography, please?"

"Sure thing." You smiled at each other, as you waited for him to roll up the sleeves of his jacket. He was just about to come over when he felt the shift in mood just a second later. You heard Hoseok mumble something under his breath which you just about heard.

"I ran you through the choreography plenty of times, how can you still not remember?.." Hoseok's statement made your smile drop instantly, and every member noticed.

"Sorry, I just need a quick reminder. I haven't completely forgotten.." You shrugged, admitting that you just needed a bit of help getting it too 100%. Little did you know he would crack.

"The amount of time I took out of my days off to teach you the choreography, I would have hoped you could remember at least one dance! You can dance but you can't remember shit!" Hoseok raised his voice, a completely new experience for you. He'd never raise his voice at his little angel, the minute he finished shouting at you, he questioned what he'd just done. The boys all went silent in shock at what they'd just witnessed.

A tear ran down your cheek right as your manager, Do-Won walked in the door. He'd heard the conversation and decided to swoop in at the right moment. You stepped over to his side as he walked you calmly out the waiting room, a camera following close behind. "It's alright, Jordyn-ah. You'll be okay."

Sitting beside him backstage, you could hear the fans cheering still, despite your absence from the stage they still cheered. You felt you heart ache, you couldn't mess up in front of them over pettiness, you couldn't ruin the whole song just because you're upset.

"You know he didn't mean it, you're all stressed over making your performances perfect, he just took his out on you. Breathe slowly and calm down, you'll be okay." He gently rubbed your back. A few minutes later you could hear the door open again, a few staff members came out, some with cameras, followed by the boys.

You smiled at Do-Won before standing up. Making your way over to the stairs leading up to the stage, you tried to calm yourself down. You heard footsteps approaching you, looking up you met the eyes of Jin. He lifted your chin up and wiped your tears, before engulfing you in a warm hug.

"Try not to worry yourself over it all, Jordyn-ah. Take me as an example, I get things wrong all the time, Hoseok just wants to help us all. Sometimes he can get angry, but he doesn't mean it, we're all stressed and anxious but you'll be fine. Just flow with the music, just like you always tell me, let it guide you if you forget." You nodded at him with a smile and gave him another hug. The other boys made their way over to you, as it was time to go on stage.

You all got in a circle and put your hands in the middle. "Now isn't the time to take things out on each other, it's time like this that we need to be supporting each other. We're a team, we help and aid each other when we need it. This day isn't about us, it's about showing ARMY what we've got, and we need to stick together as a team otherwise they'll feel the tension. Now lets go, ARMY is waiting for us so we can't let them down now." Namjoon's words made you realise you can't hold your grudge against Hoseok for any longer, unless you want to bring down the mood of the entire concert.
