💭 Car Crash #1

The worst feeling can sometimes be the feeling of peace..

You were in your car on the way to the dorm. Your manager had called you in for a small meeting where he wanted to discuss the details of your latest solo album. By the time you'd both finished speaking, the sun had disappeared behind the horizon, the once bright sky covered in a black canvas. You hopped in your car, unsuspecting of the events that were only just about to begin.

Blackness. At first, you thought you were looking up at the beautiful night sky, covered in gorgeous, shimmery diamonds, although you knew you weren't when the white specks began to grow. The last thing you could remember was a pair of bright, blinding car lights swerving towards you. That's when it happened. In an act of pure fear, you drove into the curb. The bumper of your car collided with the concrete, sending you head first through the windscreen, your body rolling unconsciously down the bonnet of your car before you dropped onto the wet, cement road. 

Drivers who had no choice but to carry on past the incident due to the awkward location watched as the other car managed to drive around you, although it didn't get very far. The front wheels crashed into the curb just a few meters behind your car, the whole body of the vehicle flipped onto it's back, landing with a rattling thump on the grass, just a few centimetres away from the edge of the bridge you were passing over. If it was to have fallen over the edge, it would result in the car crashing down a height of around 50 feet before it would land on the active motorway below.

You couldn't feel anything, not a single muscle in your body moved to your will. You saw bright, flashing lights approaching you, although that was it before you felt you whole body begin to melt into a never ending sea of black.

-BTS Dorm-

The members of BTS had arrived back at the dorm just a few hours ago. Yoongi was the only member, apart from you, who had stayed at BigHit. He told you he was going to call you at around 10pm to make sure he knew where you were and if you'd made it back from the meeting safely.

The remaining members were sprawled out on the couch, despite Taehyung, Jimin and Jungkook who were all playing Overwatch in Kookie's room, Jimin happily spectating them both from his spot on Kookie's couch.

Hobi let out a sigh as Jin tiredly scrolled through the channels on TV. It was getting late but they weren't tired. Namjoon, who had his phone in his hand was scrolling down the channel list to see if there were any shows on this late at night.

"Hey Jin, go to channel 45, Cinderella is on." Namjoon cringed at the thought of watching such a 'childish' movie, but he knew it was one of his Hyung's favourite movies so he was alright with it.

"Oh my- I hope we haven't missed any." Jin's finger had never moved so fast. He clicked through every single channel until he reached 45, although he coincidentally clicked one too many times, the channel landing on the news instead. He was about to scroll back one until Hobi stopped him.

"Wait a second, Jin Hyung." Hobi put the remove to the side as the three Hyung's listened carefully the the news anchor.

"The crash occurred approximately 20 minutes ago on Route 53. According to police who are currently on the scene, the horrific car accident resulted in 2 deaths, and 1 injured. One of the vehicles crashed into the side curb, while the other rolled upside down, the car landing only a few centimetres from rolling onto the motorway below. Police arrived on the scene almost immediately, followed by paramedics who took the 3 patients involved to the hospital, where 2 of the involved patients were reported dead on arrival.-" The 3 boys looked at each other with slight frowns on their faces. They didn't know the people involved (they thought) although accidents like this always made them feel ashamed. They were about to click off the channel until a picture showed up of the scene, a Breaking News sign at the bottom catching their attention..

"Breaking news just in! Paramedics have identified one of the patients to be one of Korea's known idols. The only female member of the Kpop group Bangtan Sonyeondan, Jordyn, reported to have arrive at the hospital in critical condition. Doctors found it hard to identify the female member of one of Korea's most well known groups, but they managed to make out the identify of Jordyn-"

The screen was engulfed in black. The boys didn't know what to say, tears ran down their cheeks as they thought about what to do.. trying to process what just happened. Slowly, Namjoon dialled in a number, a familiar voice picking up on the other end..
