🗯 Argument [Burn The Stage] Interview

You and the boys were being interviewed individually for your thoughts on 'Burn the Stage', when a certain question came up that involved you and Hobi.

"How did you feel when Hoseok and Jordyn had their argument before 'Fire' in Brazil? Do you feel it effected your performance?"

Jin 🐷:
"Ahh, yeah, their argument. It's normal for us to argue, a lot of our problems are resolved through arguing but they only make us stronger as a team. Sometimes I do feel bad to Jordyn-ah, she tries to look strong on the outside, but she's human too. You can tell when she's upset, the little dimples in her cheeks flatten out and her eyes droop slightly. It's rare for her to cry, she doesn't easily let others get to her, when they do though she seeks attention from one of the members, usually either Jimin or Namjoon. Things between them eased later on after they spoke about it."

Yoongi 🐢:
"Jordyn has a heart of gold which is easily broken. When one of us get angry at her she'll go to her manager, just as she did after the argument with Hoseok. They're very close, but he pushes her to resolve her problems herself before he steps in, which is one of the reasons she's grown so much since debut. You could feel the tension after Hoseok shouted at her, he felt bad and started scratching his head after Jordyn left. Thankfully the performance wasn't effected, everything was calmly resolved afterwards and they're still as close as ever."

Hoseok 🐎:
"I don't tend to raise my voice at any of the members, especially not Jordyn. I couldn't imagine how she felt when I shouted at her, I scared myself, I hate hurting the people I love and care about. When she started crying, I wanted nothing more then to reach out and say sorry and to hug her, but she left with her manager and all I could do was watch. It was on my mind the whole performance, I was glad she didn't mess up the dance. I wouldn't have wanted her to be embarrassed by making a mistake because of me."

Namjoon 🐳:
"The whole ordeal was a surprise, Hoseok isn't someone who normally shouts with anger. Jordyn is a very strong girl, although she can get emotional when she's shouted at or feels pressured or targeted. In situations like that, all we can do is comfort her. Hoseok was in the wrong and he knows that, but its not worth making two people upset over something so small and petty. The whole argument was resolved when we got back to the hotel."

Jordyn 🐶:
"There isn't much to really reflect on to do with what happened.. I wouldn't call in an argument, I don't allow myself to talk back to my members. I'm quite quiet and reserved when I feel anxious, my mind had blanked before the performance, but I don't blame Hoseok for raising his voice at me. I know he didn't mean what he said, but I'm at my most sensitive before large performances, which was why it really got to me at the time. After we spoke that night though, I felt closer to him, he's a beautiful man inside and out. Hoseok oppa has been my inspiration for years, I wouldn't throw the past away over a petty squabble which meant nothing. The performance went smoothly though, feelings backstage are forgotten when we're surrounded by our fans. ARMY makes us feel happiness, no matter what we felt seconds before, they're our light."

Jimin 🐥:
"Those two have never argued before, it was a shock when Hoseok hyung raised his voice at Jordyn noona, you could tell everyone was surprised. After Jordyn noona walked out, Namjoon hyung spoke to Hoseok hyung about controlling his anger. He's never gotten angry like that, ever, but it was a stressful time so its understandable, although I think it was unnecessary for Hoseok hyung to raise his voice. When they spoke later that evening, I went back to see them although I walked in on them hugging and crying together. It was sweet, moments like that remind us why we're a team and why we've stuck together for so long."

Taehyung 🐯:
"I believe they both wouldn't allow an argument to affect their performance on stage, we've learned to push emotions aside when dancing so it doesn't get in the way. As idols, we've grown up learning that we can't hold grudges against each other. It can take seconds, weeks or even months to talk about what happened, but eventually troubles will be resolved. We're a family, not colleagues or acquaintances. Having arguments can hold consequences being idols, just as they would with family. Things are always resolved between us, otherwise we wouldn't have made it this far."

Jungkook 🐰:
"It's always hard watching my hyungs and Jordyn noona argue, whoever its between. It's super rare for both Hoseok hyung and noona to argue with anyone, especially each other. They're the sunshine's of the group, they're normally the ones that keep us positive when the others are having a disagreement. The performance thankfully wasn't effected, the both of them are very dedicated to perfecting every move they show to ARMY, they wouldn't allow an argument to take them from 100% to anywhere near 99%. We always work things out in the end, all of us love Jordyn noona more then anything, as well as Hobi hyung, and we know they love us just as much. It can get tough sometimes, keeping things calm, but we get through it because we've taught each other as we've grown how to deal with each other in different situations. We grew up as a team and bonded into a family, no argument can split us apart."
