💭 Dumbass| You Burnt Yourself

Yet again it was that time of the year. It was one of those days that after a few weeks of continuous work and schedule that you and the boys are just home.

You were inside your room and suddenly your door was pushed open. "NOONA! We're hungry!!"

Chuckling to yourself, you looked to the begging maknae line and answered them with a raised eyebrow. "And..? What do you want me to do about that?"

Their faces fell as Taehyung jumped on your bed, making the bed creak under his weight. He grabbed you by your shoulders and shook you indescribably. "Come on, noona~! PLEASE! I'm begging you!"

"HAHAHA!" You couldn't help but laugh at the children that was in front of you. Jimin looked at you hysterically with confusion plastered on his face. Jungkook was long gone and started looking for Jin and the other hyungs to go bother them.

"Fine! I can't resist that puppy face you're pulling Taehyungie-," They shouted in glee as Jimin grabbed you by their hand, dragging you to the kitchen.

In the kitchen, the kids were undecided on what to eat. The members were all out in the living room, even Jin who insisted on helping you, but you said you can handle it. "I got big guns oppa! I can handle a little bit of cooking. Besides, you're tired so keep the others out of the kitchen."

"You guys! Does Chicken Parmesan sound good to you for a change?" Shouting from the kitchen, you waited for the hungry kids to answer.

Hoseok loudly replied, "Jordyn-ah, that's good enough! Anything you cook will be good anyways~"

"Thank you oppa!" You took the necessary ingredients out; chicken, breading, and such. Some spaghetti will work well with this. It doesn't take too much time anyways.

You chopped up some onions and garlic for the tomato sauce and while that was sautéing, you proceeded on boiling a pot of water.

"Ok, I have the breading, but the chicken needs to be pounded. Then, I'll have to finish the sauce so that I can focus on cooking the chicken." Setting the oven to 400 degrees, you quickly finished the sauce and directed your attention to the chicken.

The hard and tedious part begins now as you had to butterfly and pound the chicken, dip it in flour, then the egg. You would put it in the bread crumbs lastly.

Filling the pan with oil, you had put just enough to cover the bottom well. Or did you? Unbeknownst to you, even though you had done this multiple times, you accidentally put too much in, but didn't pay much attention to it. "Eh, it's fine. It's not like this is my first time doing this."

The first chicken was a success. It was sizzling in the pan as you prepared the largest chicken piece that was pounded into. "Agh- this is troublesome, it's taking awhile."

Grabbing the chicken by the side, you held it so that it was spread out. The hot oil was letting off some steam as you slowly let the chicken be immersed by it. Your eyes went to the oil that was slowly creeping up on your hands.

In complete panic, you subconsciously dropped the chicken in. The oil went up on the side, spilling over and ended up slapping you on the hand. "OUCH! Mothertru-!"

You threw an evil glare at the chicken as you rushed to the sink and let the cold water run through your arm. "Ah, this will leave a mark."

Jin quickly ran to the kitchen as soon as he heard your yelp. As soon as he arrived, he saw you by the sink and he immediately knew what happened. "You burned your hand huh?"

You looked beside you, and Jin was there holding your arm as he twitched it from time to time to let the water run over it more efficiently.

A dorky smile went up on your face, "Hehe, sorry?"

Jin sighed as he turned off the faucet. The other members went to go check on the commotion in the kitchen.

"What happened?" Hoseok popped in, and immediately he saw your arm. "Jordyn-ah, your arm!"

He frantically ran past the others and quickly grabbed the medical kit that was in the cabinet. "Jiminie, can you take over the cooking for a little bit?"

"Ne, hyung." Jimin walked past you as you pouted.

Yoongi flicked you on your forehead. Sighing deeply, he looked at you with eyes filled with concern. "What happened you dork?"

"Noona is that because of me? I'm sorry! I shouldn't have-" Taehyung suddenly jumped in front of you as looked extremely worried and was about to cry.

"Aww Tae, no. It's not because of you. Did I make you worry? I'm sorry." You patted his head, ruffling his hair in the process.

You looked at Yoongi and gave him a sly smile, "I may or may not have been scared of the chicken and the oil?"

"You were scared of the chicken? Noona it's not alive you know.." Jungkook looked at you like you were crazy. His eyes lit up, and whenever it does, you already know a tease is about to come out of his mouth.

"I KNOW. But it was BIG-!" You defended yourself from the doubtful eyes of the maknae.

"HEY! I'm your noona so don't you dare tease me-," Huffing slightly, you puffed your cheeks and turned away from the said member.

The hyung line just laughed at the stupidity of their precious princess. It wasn't bad, it could have, but nothing happened so they just shook it off. They were worried about what happened but seeing you were okay, they sighed in relief.

"Noona?" The maknae spoke up again.

You pursed your lip as you looked at him from the side of your eye. "What now Kookie?"

"I know Noona's older than me-, but you're a dumbass." A straight forward answer shot through you as gave the maknae a glare.

"YA! JEON JUNGKOOK! NO FOOD FOR YOU-,"
