💭 The Truth Untold [MV Layout]

So.. I was listening to 'The Truth Untold ft. Steve Aoki' in BTS' Tear album, and I just closed my eyes and imaged a Music Video that would suit it. I thought i'd share it with you.. This song gets me so emotional, I listened to it yesterday and even though i couldn't understand most of the lyrics it still made me cry. They just sound like angels, and the 'But I still want you' tore me apart 😭😭 What's your favourite song in the album? I love them all but this one just hits me hard-

Firstly, BTS are probably representing a completely different image through this song, but I wanted to recreate it as a music video with Jordyn in. The theme, of course, is still Fake Love. I recommend you read every detail, not just because I wrote it, but because you might get something out of it. It makes me emotional, take the time to imagine it all yourself, let your mind take you to another world as you read my words.

Jordyn is in the vocal line but she gets very few lines, this adds an effect as her lines are specially selected to pass over a story. The main story the MV portrays is that Jordyn is the girl the boys are going to meet. The boys love Jordyn, although they feel as though they are too ugly and she is too good for them. By wearing a mask, they go and see her, trying to help her develop into a beautiful girl inside and out, although it hurts them to know she's too good for them. Unfortunately, little do they know is that Jordyn loves them too, until it's too late for any of them to realise.

The music video is held in a gorgeous maze of rose bushes, of which are tall enough you can't see over them. Right in the middle there is a bench where Jordyn sits during the MV, the same place the boys go to see her. The video links in with their other track 'Love Maze', as the boys have to make their way through the maze of rose bushes to see the woman they love.

[Taehyung]
This garden is filled
With blossoming loneliness
I tied myself
To this sand castle filled with thorns
Taehyung starts the music video, walking through the maze. He has a white mask on his head so its sitting above his face as he hasn't put it on properly yet. He thinks he's alone, walking through the garden of roses he's grown to love, yet he feels loneliness surrounded by the tall bushes he can't see past.

[Jungkook]
What is your name?
Do you even have a place to go?
Oh could you tell me?
I saw you hiding in this garden
At this part, Jungkook comes across Jordyn running through the maze. He follows her secretly, wondering who she is and why she's here.

[Jin]
And I know
Your heat is real
Your hand picks the green flowers
I want to hold it but
Jin watches Jordyn pick a gorgeous green flower which sits by itself, surrounded by the beautiful roses. He admires her delicate hand, urging, reaching out to hold it, although he's scared of her beauty so he tells himself he can't.

[Jimin]
This is my destiny
Don't smile on me
Light on me
Because I can't go to you
There's no name to call
Jimin is now introduced, he is already wearing a mask as he walks through the maze. He'd already been following Jordyn (the scenes had been flicking between each boy following her) but as he didn't know her name, he couldn't find the words to get her attention. He was scared, he knew he couldn't have the girl and he was scared her positivity and optimism which clearly shone through her smile.

[Jungkook]
You know that I can't
Show you me
Give you me
I can't show you my weakness
So I'm putting on a mask to go see you
But I still want you
All the boys have put on their masks at this point. Time skips to after the boys have gotten to know Jordyn, although she's never seen them without their white masks on. Scenes flip through you smiling and talking with the boys on your bench at the centre of the garden. After time though, the boys begin to understand they're not worthy of your love, and so things start to unravel.
