💭 BFG - Weekly Idol MC

You have been invited to present a special episode of 'weekly idol'. Your manager just dropped you off outside of the studio, where a staff member kindly led you inside to prepare you. She was a Noona, a gorgeous one at that. You stared at her long, silky brown hair that bounced behind her with every step she took down the corridors, the clicking of her heels echoed between you as the material landed on the glistening, marble floor.

After a few minutes, you arrived in what you assumed was a simple preparation room. A cute outfit was hung on a hook by the mirror. A young lady was waiting for you with a small box of makeup. You'd never been a fan of the idea of looking like a cake, so you tended to avoid makeup and stick to the basics. Your skin was naturally flawless thanks to your care routines, your eyelashes were flatteringly long and your plump lips were utterly perfect to finish off your image.

Thankfully, the younger looking makeup artist took into consideration your natural beauty and only gave you a hint of highlighter to glow you to the heavens, some pale red lipstick and some mascara with a small wing (I literally needed to search that make-up up 😐 I need to research make-up names before I wrote about them next time 😂❤).

Passing you your outfit, thankfully it easily slipped over your head without touching your face.

After you were dressed, your makeup artist began to work her magic on your cute, short brown bob of hair. She tied it at the back, bringing the shorter hairs that couldn't reach the back to the front, leaving them loose in which they perfectly framed your soft face and brought out your already strong jawline.

You stood up and thanked the staff member before you walked back out to find Heechul or Doni. Finally, you came across their preparation room where they should be waiting. You pushed the door open slowly, peeking round to see your very close friend, a presenter you often appear with on variety programs recently. Kim Heechul.

"Heechulie Oppa~" You bounced over to him and gave him a quick hug.

"Ah, Jordyn-ah. You excited?" He showed his cute grin, you felt your heart begin to beat fast in your chest. He wasn't your type, although your heart ached at how cute he could be sometimes. You'd known the SJ member for over 6 years now, when you were a teenager you would often model, you even got hired as a back-up dancer a few times since your height over-passed other, older women. You got to know him back when you were a dancer for their Mr. Simple album. At this time you were still a trainee, soon to meet BTS.

"I am. Who's the guest this week?" You cutely asked in hopes of him spilling the truth, although turns out it wasn't necessary..

"Girls Generation. Now put those puffy cheeks away and lets go." Heechul stood up, before facing you and looking up to meet your eyes. "Good lord, Jordyn-ah. Have you grown even more or is it just me?"

"Just you, Oppa." You smiled innocently at him.

"I remember when you were only 16 and I was 28, when I met you for our Mr. Simple album. You were still taller then me even back then." You both laughed as you made your way towards the white background to get ready. The staff prepared you behind the cameras while Heechul and Doni introduced the episode. Just a few minutes later, they began to introduce you. You'd noticed the members of Girls Generation earlier, and you greeted them with a slight bow, although they hadn't yet seen how tall you really are since you were sitting down.

Heechul finished introducing you as you got up and walked onto the white background, unaware of the shocked faces of the SNSD members. They thought Sooyoung was tall, but that all left the moment they realised you were (10cm) taller then her. "Let's welcoming on our final MC, please come out."

You happily walked on, waving to the cameras before standing next to Heechul. "Stand here, Jordyn-ah.", he said, pulling your arm into the middle of him and Doni.

"Just leave her there, it looks better that way." Doni quickly said, lightly signally you to go and stand back at the side.

"Why do you always make me stand in the middle? Take care of the ladies too." Heechul laughed.

"She'll make us both look even shorter if we're either side of her. Just stay like this." You laughed awkwardly. Sometimes you could tell your height was a problem, especially when with boys since you didn't look as lady-like and petite as you would alone without comparisons. You 3 spoke a bit about Bangtan and what activities you've been up to and and are planning, before introducing the guests of the episode.

"After some time, this day has finally come. Coming together as a whole, male and female fans have been waiting a long time for them. After 4 years, please welcome, Girls Generation!" You shout cheerfully as the 8 girls elegantly walk on. Heechul and Doni gave them a quick interview like they did with you before you carried on with the show. Your height was mentioned quite a couple of times during the show..

"Jordyn-ah is so tall~ She's like the BFG." Yoona smiled.

"Taller then Sooyoung." Taeyeon said, tilting her head up to see you due to the 22cm height difference. You looked especially tall compared to her, since you were the tallest female idol and she was the shortest.

"What's the BFG?" Heechul laughed playfully.

"The big friendly giant, of course." Sunny pouted, sad Heechul didn't know what it was.

"You think Jordyn is a giant?" Doni chuckled.

"She's the tallest yet the youngest here, so yeah." Yuri crossed her arms and smiled at you. The episode carried on, the rare comment on your height popping up every so often. Apart from that, you all had a great time.

That night when you got home, you set the table full of snacks as the boys turned on the TV. You sat down, Jimin taking a seat next to you, Jungkook on the other side and Taehyung next to him. Hobi sat down on a beanbag beside Namjoon on the floor while Jin sat in front of you, placing his head in your lap. Yoongi on the other hand was seated beside Jimin, his head leaned back on the sofa with his eyes glued shut. Of course he'd be asleep at 9pm, 100% grandpa vibes.

You pressed play on the episode, Heechul and Doni appeared on the familiar white background. That night you and the boys spent watching your Mc'ing on Weekly Idol and you went back to watch your past appearances on said show. Nights like this were ones you treasured the most, snuggled up with your favourite people, no speaking apart from the rare comment, just enjoying each others company.
