Chapter 14 he is not yours

"Who?..." Taeyong looked away. He's sure that Ten had guessed who it could be. "...Do you have a girlfriend?"

What? Taeyong turned to look at him again. He was surprised about what he heard. Should he lie? Saying 'yes' would be so much easier than the truth. But he didn't want to lie anymore.

"Why do you look so surprised? ...It's...not a girl, is it?" Ten asked carefully. Lying wasn't an option anymore for Taeyong.

The thing that had bothered him in his nightmares came true. His secret was out. The thing he was most scared of, had happened.

"I'm sorry-" Taeyong was shaking. He felt so cold suddenly and he didn't know how he could still stand up. "I...I love him." Last thing he could hear was Ten shouting his name before he lost consciousness.

When Taeyong woke up he didn't know where he was at first. He wasn't in his own bed or even in his room. He tried to sit up but groaned when he felt his head hurt so much. What happened?

"Hyung?! Thank god you're awake. I was so worried." Ten was fast beside him. Why was he so worried?

"You hit your head when you fell but maybe not too hard because I didn't see any blood. You were out for an hour maybe. No one knows what happened. I thought you wouldn't want them to know and I couldn't get anyone because of that." Ten pointed at his neck again. "Someone could misunderstand." He whispered the last part.

"Why?" Taeyong asked confused. Ten stopped explaining and turned to him.

"What?"

"Why didn't you get anyone?" He could've just left him there so why help him to hide his secret? He tried to sit up again but Ten stopped him.

"You should just lay there. I didn't get anyone because I thought you wouldn't want anyone to know about you and Jaehyun. Am I right?" Why was he so nice to him suddenly?

"You're right. But aren't you bothered by the idea of...you know...me and Jaehyun?" Taeyong was scared of hearing the answer but it was something he needed to ask either way. He needed to know what Ten thought about him.

"Don't worry about it. I already knew something was going on with you two. I won't tell anyone but I have a one condition." Taeyong had been worried again for nothing. He had thought that Jaehyun being so approving had been an exception. Now he didn't know anymore what to believe.

"Everyone is worried that you're in a fight or something because sometimes you're not talking with each other and then the next day you share odd glances all the time. Your behaviour affects the whole team. You can't be that obvious. The affair between you guys-"

"We aren't exactly together." Taeyong blushed.

"What?! Then what are you? You said you loved him. Then what's with that kiss mark on your neck?" It was true what he had said but saying it in that situation couldn't have been the best decision. Everything between him and Jaehyun was a mess and now Ten was in it too.

"I do love him but...I realised it too late. I hurt him so much. When he first told me that he liked me, I broke his heart. I ignored his feelings because I was selfish and only thought about myself. He probably hates me for that." Taeyong was feeling emotional. He sat up on the bed beside Ten. He felt relieved to be able to tell these things to someone. His heart didn't feel so heavy anymore.

"Did you talk about it with him?" Taeyong shook his head and Ten sighed. "Then you don't know if he hates you. He could just be waiting for you. I see the way he looks at you and it's not hate I see in his eyes. Now that I think about it, he looks at you so...lovingly. He even smiles sometimes when he sees you laughing or doing something funny."

"He really does that?" Taeyong got his hopes up. He had slightly tears in his eyes but he didn't allow them falling. Could he really be with Jaehyun after all?

"I think he loves you just as much as you love him but you need to talk with him. It's better for the both of you. And remember what I said about being too obvious-" Taeyong hugged him and hid his head in the younger's neck. It meant him everything to hear these words.

"Thank you but we still can't be together even-"
He didn't get to finish his sentence when he heard loud knocking from the door. It was soon opened before neither of them could say anything.

"Jaehyun..." Taeyong pulled fast away from the hug. He felt guilty and the look on Jaehyun's face didn't help at all. Why was he looking so angry? And hurt? What was he even doing here?

"I heard from Taeil hyung that you weren't feeling well but I see that you're doing just fine. Continue the whatever you were doing anyways." Taeyong had never before seen him like this. Was he jealous? His heart fluttered when he looked the younger in the eye. Jaehyun turned to leave but he wasn't finished yet.

"Wait! How do you know about that? Ten how does he know about that? You told me that you didn't tell anyone!" Jaehyun stopped and turned to listen to them. He had no clue what was going on.

"No, don't misunderstand. Taeil and I share this room, remember? He came here earlier but I told him to go sleep somewhere else because you were here. He doesn't know anything else besides what I told him. I told him that you had a bad stomach ache and I'd take care of you so he wouldn't have to worry."

"Aah... okay, good, thank you. Then what is he doing here?" He pointed at the younger standing by the door and waited for Ten to answer. Like he even knew what he was doing here either.

"He just told that Taeil hyung told him, remember?" Taeyong nodded and stood up from the bed. That was a mistake. He had forgotten the pain on his head and when suddenly standing up, he stumbled a bit and held his head. The world looked like spinning around for him.

"Hyung sit down! You're not okay to do sudden movements like that yet." Ten pulled him to sit again. He had totally forgotten that Jaehyun was still in the room when he had said that.

"What happened? Why is he holding his head and not his stomach? Wasn't it a stomach ache? What's going on?" Jaehyun was so confused now and worried about Taeyong. Above that, seeing him hugging someone else than him made him extremely jealous.

"Ah, my bad. It's not a stomach ache he had. He hit his head when he...fell." Jaehyun was going to answer but then his eyes were caught by something on Taeyong's neck. Ten must be stupid if he hadn't seen that mark on his neck yet. What was Taeyong doing?

"Please don't say anything else." Taeyong had whispered to Ten but Jaehyun heard it too. What was going on?
