A New King

This is a Vampire Male Reader x Raven requested by rebyfan722. Sorry it took so long.

Raven's POV

The night was quiet with only the cracked moon illuminating the hut. Quietness is what I like to hear around the encampment. However, my eyes shot open when a blood curtailing scream was heard. I retrieved my sword and ran out of the hut to find a group of the tribe huddled around something.

Raven: "Make way!!" I yelled as the group parted for me. Once I was in the center I saw what everyone was looking at. One of our guards was on the ground motionless. His body was contorted and his skin extremely pale. I knelt down next to him and began to examine the body. His body had multiple bruise and scratches everywhere, but the thing that caught my attention was two bite marks at the base of his neck. They were small,but big enough to notice. Upon closer examination they were deep enough to hit the artery and drain the blood, which explains the pale skin. The only question left was who or what could have done this.

Vernal: "What happened Raven?" She said while kneeling next to me.

Raven: "That's what im trying to figure out." I said while standing. "I want everyone to fan out and search the camp!! Whatever killied one of our own couldn't have gotten far!!!" I said as the group dispersed around the encampment.

Vernal: "What happens if we can't find that thing?" She questioned while standing.

Raven: "Then we double the patrols during the day and triple during the night." I said as she nodded. Just as Vernal was going to walk away another scream rang through the camp. We ran towards the sound of the scream and came upon a horrid sight. A man clad in a dark cloak and cowl was biting into the neck of a dead tribe member.

Vernal: "Hey!!" She shouted which caught his attention. He took his mouth away from the neck of the tribe member and let the body drop to the ground. His eyes were as red as blood which sent a chill down my spine.

???: "Why hello there." He said with a clam and crud voice.

Raven: "Why are you attacking my people?!?" I demanded.

???: "Oh I wouldn't exactly call this attacking." He said with a smile. Once his mouth open I saw two sharp teeth on the top of his jaw. He lunged forward with inhuman speed, which I barely blocked with my sword. His bare hand was pressed against my sword yet he was not hurt. "Feeding is more the term." He said pushing my sword back with tremendous strength while I tried to hold my ground. Vernal brought her weapons down on him which he easily blocked with his other hand.

Vernal: "What the hell?!?" She said struggling to kept her own.

???: "Is that the best you have?" He questioned. Vernal and I gave a hard push which sent him sliding backwards a few feet. He just stood up straight and cracked his neck.

Raven: "Who the hell are you?!?" I yelled at him.

???: "A challenge for you Raven Brawnwan." He said coldly.

Raven: "How do you know me?" I asked him still in my fighting stance.

???: "Beat me and I'll tell you." He said while getting into a stance of his own.

Third Person POV

The two stared at each other with intensity as they began to circle one another. The man rushed Raven as she put up her sword in defense. Once his fist connected with her blade she was sent flying backwards due to the immense force of the punch. She skidded to a halt in the middle of the camp and stood. The man slowly walked towards her with a horrendous grin.

???: "Come on and fight Brawnwan!!" He said a bit excited. "Show me your power!!" He yelled. Raven needed to finish him quickly so she decided to use her ace. Her maiden powers activated which caused a red aura to appear around her eyes. She began to float in the air and bend the forces of nature to her will. A gigantic bolt of lighting cracked from the sky and struck the man with full force. He laughed as the electricity surge into his body. Once it was over he still stood on his feet.
